I usually check the torrent everyday for peers, and leave my client open accordingly. There are instances however where I can't connect to the leecher and/or they they cannot connect to me.
Most times it ends up that a new leecher will come along that I can send the whole file to, and in turn they to others.
I would say there are not any connection problems on my side...but who knows.
