Love the plot almost wish they would remake it with today's standards in anime it would make an awesome series. I always wanted to watch it, though i have to admit the animation sort of reminds me of speed racer.

I am DLing this for a retarded reason. I was watching Ookiku Furikabutte and the cheering squad for the team kept playing the theme songs to Lupin and Yamato and I thought, I feel like a bad anime fan for not knowing anything about this Space Battleship Yamato.

One note:
'Yamato Eps 12 - Central Anime[ea3daeb0].avi' is indeed CA's "official" name for episode 12. However, the file's correct CRC32 is B2040A09.
I got this batch from a source other than BakaBT, checksummed the files, and noticed the discrepancy. Then I checked BakaBT's torrent and I saw the filename I have is identical to the one here so I suspected that my file was corrupted. I played it through and it was completely fine. Fortunately, AniDB confirmed my other theory: CA made a mistake with the CRC32 (either used faulty software or just made sort of a typo). The perfectly faultless (playable, no-glitches) file in circulation is the one listed on AniDB which happens to have the exact same CRC32 as the one I have rather than the CRC32 inserted in the filename.

I suggest others who have BakaBT's version of the file, particularly the uploader, checksum it and compare with the one in the filename. If AniDB's checksum is correct then in order to avoid confusion it would be wise for the uploader to make an arrangement with moderators/admins and either rename the file in the torrent or add a visible note explaining the situation.

Update:
Current torrent correspondent (macros74) has kindly changed the filenames (there were more erros: episodes 12, 16, and 17) and swapped the torrent.
Whoever was seeding this please fix your filenames and get the new torrent file to continue seeding. No need to re-download anything. Just rename and get the new torrent. Thanks macros74 and seeders
