Good torrent mate, there is a slight problem, JAL and Streamline dubs won't work if file is burned to DVD.

I know what you mean; the japanese, geneon, manga, and streamline dubs work for me, but i reeeeallllyyy wish the JAL dub would work; its the only one thats silent when burned to dvd  :-(

hmmm
weirdness.

the *only* way i can hear the JAL and Streamline tracks are to demux and play in foobar with AC3 plugin
they do not play in MPC or MPC-HC or vlc or TMT3 or TMT5 or PDVD9 or PDVD12 or XBMC or other players (neither in mkv nor demuxed, well some of these players don't handle AC3 by itself, notably PDVD and TMT)

one thing I notice is the JAL is a strange 44.1 k instead of 48k, but Streamline is correct

I can't explain why these 2 tracks are so weird and don't want to play.  I am guessing they have some bad headers or other screwed up data.  foobar plays them with the plugin, but it plays a lot of audio other players won't play (dts in wav with dts plugin, and other dts tracks with bad header data, so i imagine same is for AC3 tracks)
again, i am too lazy to look, but I bet it is bad headers, etc.  there are tools i got from doom9 that would probably tell me, but I hate cli tools if i can help it, and save that for eac3to which is pretty easy after using it for a few years, and I don't feel like fudging with new to me tools :p

anyone who really wants this to play, here is what i did,
i demuxed audio and audio tracks  2 and 3 (JAL and Streamline) & did re-encoding the audio right back to AC3 with megui
audio track 1 (overall track 2), the JAL make sure to set resampling to 48k since 44.1 k AC3 is just weird and wrong
then remux
it deprecates audio quality for these tracks, of course but gives you a working mkv
and now it is muxed better than this file made with vdubmod

Eventually I may make a better offer for this, using higher quality audio and video, or make custom DVDs and BDs for someone else to re-encode from
i have the Jpn BD, the R2UK Manga DVD with its dub, the Geneon R1 DVD with Pioneeer dub, the old R1 Image DVD that has Streamline dub (pictured above for movie poster), working on getting the DeAgostini ITALIAN DVD with JAL dub (this will require not only slowing down PAL speedup but worse, requires piecing it back together, since this DVD's film is cut to 90 minutes; the extras include deleted scenes, but not sure if the deleted scenes are only Italian audio or multi-audio; if no Eng on deleted scenes I would use the audio from this mkv here for JAL, resampled/ re-encoded to fix headers/sample rate).
Aside from the JAL I wouldn't reencode audio at all for a custom BD, tho a custom DVD may require it due to bitrate max, since R2J DVDs usually have very high bitrate video typically

edit:
as for the JAL dub, I am waiting on Diskotek to release their DVD with all 4 dubs.  I will then work on a custom BDMV with all 4 dubs.  (I may use the Manga UK dub from Diskotek's DVD, if they handle the PAL->NTSC conversion correctly, save me the work and they have pro tools).

I think a BD rip with these audio tracks would awesome! If possible of course :)

The most recent comment about trouble burning this file to DVD was 2 years ago.

Has anyone found a solution to it since then?

Please help!
I have been downloading this for 15 hours and at 77.2% the tracker tells me "offline (timed out)" .
So curious as to how the 78 airplane dub sounds.
Thanks Clint.
