?? The Genbu Kaiden is going over Takiko, the very first priestess. Her father is the one who translated the "Universe of the Four Gods" from Chinese to Japanese. Takiko is the priestess of Genbu (Genbu no Miko), searching for her celestial warriors. Two of the characters, Tomite and Hikitsu, made an appearance in the original when Miaka was looking for the Shinzaho in the ice cave. They were guarding Takiko's relic. They are all going to interact in some way. Suzuno is going to be the next story I hope!!! (Priestess of Byakko) I love it!!!

i love this manga! i heard there is an anime series out called "preistess of the ryuujin". its the exact same storyline as these two manga series but its not the same mangaka and obviously its another deity. but it still looks really good. struggling to find it though... any suggestions?

Thanks a lot for this one. I know the anime really well, lately I've been more interested in manga though, I know that this one follows rather close, one continuous story instead of different 'arcs' or whatnot. The place I get my manga stopped distributing this after vol 6, and I wanted to finish the manga. Long live Tasuki!!
And as for Genbu Kaiden, I heard somewhere that Watasu was ill for a while and took a break, let's hope she's doing well and can keep going ^^
