This show is just amazing!!!
The soundtrack will most certainly be added to my library.
The opening and ending is enough to bring me to tears. This show's storyline is sucking me in further and further and I'm only on the 5th episode.
I wasn't really sure about the animation style at first, but it does fit the show. It's simple but abstract Shows like this don't come along that often. As an anime fan it takes years of watching before one can open his/her mind to a show like this. It has that same feel as "An angel's egg". Something abstract but beautiful.

One of the most fantastic, original shows. Rivals Tatami Galaxy.

April 18th 2012 (1 year and 1 month and 15 hours)A great Anime with a beautiful story (and a lot of side stories) that fits in all times. It is showing how peoples change to the better or worse under certain influences. It is especially fitting in the current time where corruption and controlling people by the government (SOPA/PIPA/ACTA) is omnipresent. I for myself think the art style (yes! art style) of this Anime is perfectly going along with the theme.

Was a nice series
The art and character design reminded me of Astro Boy and Mega Man, was a nice change from the norm.

Absolutely brilliant surrealistic fantasy! Both mind-boggling animation and thought provoking story line. Highly recommended.

This is a very intriguing anime, and it's a very nice encode...except for the op having hardsubs. Ultimately this wouldn't matter with most anime, but considering the openings are one of the best parts of Kaiba -- each op is different -- it's a real bummer to have pointless, flashy hardsubs vomiting sparkles -- yes, sparkles -- all over them. The lyrics are in english...so why have english subs???
There is another HD encode by Grohotun.com which is thankfully devoid of sparkle vomit -- and done at crf 18, allowing extra bits for those eps that need it. Some eps are bigger, some smaller, but the overall size is almost identical, and the quality is about the same.
Anyway, not trying to bash this encode as terrible -- the hardsubbed OPs are the only drawback -- but I really think bakabt should go with a non-hardsubbed version.

Very cool anime. Interesting art and unique story line. There isn't anything else out there like this.

November 22nd 2011 (1 year and 5 months and 26 days)For the records, there is no reality to this statement whatsoever. Well, that's not true. The OP is hardsubbed. There aren't any typos though. I think the user might be from a rival fansub group or something that's upset that it isn't their release that got archived on Baka.
