the included sfv is directly downloaded from the fansubbers site and yes i have checked them (with the sfv and compared them to the anidb information)

Bookmarked this torrent because I've been wanting to get this for a while now.

It'd be even better to replace this with a newer DVD-rip, but sadly no other group has released this series in the nearly 5 years since the original torrent was uploaded. Nothing against zx, as I'm sure these files were good for their time, but I wish E-D or Arigatou would release Arjuna with 5.1 sound and imagesubs with both subtitle tracks included.

As for the series itself, it's very pretty, with great music and visuals. However, the philosophy and the message turn into a huge contradictory mess by the end. Not one of my better blind buys. (edited to remove link to formerly-useful anti-anime tropes site)

I don't suppose anybody still has / is willing to upload the Fivestar / Anime-Empire TV-fansub release, do they? LQ though it may be, it'd be another interesting bit of fansubbing history to have on Box. Besides, there's no single-audio "enhanced" version of this series by KAA or the like. Just old hardsub DVD-rips with the exact same R1 subs as  the zx version.

EDIT 4 years later: Managed to find the TV-rip fansubs, uploaded at Nyaa #409768.

I may download this. The soundtrack from Yoko Kanno is excellent so I am interested.

I could actually rip my DVDs of this and upload it if requested so we can get a higher quality. Though to be honest I thought this series kinda sucked.

Currently watching it, I'm fine with the quality, it's not the best, but good enough. I really liked English dub of the series. I liked the story. It's actually true that I always am not satisfied with the way I(human kind) live my life. But hey, the truth always sucks, we are looking for action packed, super addictive shows here. Like we do for fast food and cell phones and computers and internet etc etc.

by the way, soundtrack is good.

great show! I haven't watched it sense its first fansub run but it was worth a watch back then.  

I can't seem to open eps 4, 7 and 13 with mpclassic/cccp.  Is is just me?

Nice little jem of a series.  OK animation and acting and flow.  Actually takes a crack at some deep subject matter to boot.  Reminds me of Zettai Shonen, Mushishi, and Saikano

Nice! But... what does that 9 symbol mean? It's the same form Blue Seed. It must have a meaning. Maybe it's just half of the 69 symbol.  

the only con i have is that its in OGM. Other than that , its very good. And i wish more series would come with an isolated score track like this. Was it like this in the DVD release? Definitelly a plus. If more animes benefited from this treatment, fans wouldn't have to cry their eyes out when most of a score soundtrack isn't published.

Frankly I find myself annoyed with this series.   The art is amazing, the music is amazing, and the dub is really good. But does it have to hit you over the head with it's message every damn minute? Was I the only one who watched this who wanted to strangle Chris? Oy! I don't even know if I want to keep this.
It would be nice if at least some of the multitude of kanji were subtitled.  

Good show so far, but I do agree about Chris. Give "The Message" a break. I am enjoying it though.
