Errmm I'm a little lost as to how to get the subs to work. I'm using wmplayer normal, don't like using classic, and I can set it to the Japenese audio fine but when I set the subs nothing shows up. I tried doing what an earlier poster said and put it on Japenese but it didn't work nor did close captioned. Could anyone help me please?

It starts off OK but then at the middle of the series (and for some reason) the designs/drawings change and looks like they been done by an amateur, seriously it becomes so fugly, I couldn't even get myself to complete it.

Hmmm...subtitles are little weird, two of setting fail to do anything, and the other are labeled japanese yet show english subtitles...

How is it possible that nobody noticed the jerkiness in the first episode, between 00:01:31 and 00:01:45 (the floating junk) ? Mplayer tells me the framerate is 29.97 fps. Arigatou's release has a framerate of 23.976 and it's not jerky. Does this mean E-D didn't rip it properly, or... ?

Bleh, Arigatou's release is jerky in other places, like 00:08:58 - 00:09:12 (and E-D's isn't).

Surprisingly good anime. One of the best I've seen in a while.
Really had a good feeling at the ending.
Was only hindered by some obvious cheesiness -- especially in the 'background-commentator's voice in the English audio' version (doesn't sound as cheesy in Japanese, but I don't know Japanese intonations and wouldn't be able to pick up such details). Otherwise, the English audio was pretty well cast.

Actually it's only 2 or 3 episodes that have the wierd animation in it at the beginning of the second half. If you can get through them, then the rest of the series is back to the normal (and better) animation.
