I live in australia, and when they played SPA on TV (1997) it was a different version than the DVD version.
When I found a copy of it on VHS (2004) it was the same TV version. Awesome soundtrack and voice dub.
When I found the DVD version (2009), it had different music, and a different voice track and it did not have the YELLO soundtrack.
Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about?

I've searched and searched the NET for torrents and vids of the English VHS version. This is the version I have seen 10,000,000+ times. The one I like.

Does anyone have a copy of the VHS release (as of I) that has the YELLO soundtrack and different voice track, and have a power to convert it to what ever magical format you use?
When watching it in Japanise Audio (I know this is BLASPHEMY): I do not have the same passion for it, as I do with the VHS ENGLISH version.

I'm also an aussie and the original english Space Adventure Cobra release by Manga Entertainment (I think) was brilliant

You have to have that cool YELLO soundtrack with it.

I've tracked down my VHS copy of the original "Manga" release... it isn't great but it has the YELLO soundtrack.  Will try and get it captured soon.

For .au people, if you saw a crappy release, that would be Madman Entertainment destroying things as usual. If anyone has the DVD or direct ISO of Manga Entertainment's R1 release (not Madman's crappy R4) could you please PM me, I require it rather quickly this week for reasons undisclosed and that would eventuate with a sexier DVD rip than what's currently up here.

I have been trying to find another copy of this movie for about 20 years, had one on tape back in the 80's but it got lost in a move and I never could find it again. Sadly the only music i can think of to go with it was the Mathew Sweet song that wasn't in the movie, but used the movie as part of the video for his song Girlfriend.  I don't remember Yello being in the soundtrack of this movie, but they were in almost every other american movie in the 80's, but none of the OST's from the movies it was in had their song (Oh Yeah!) on it, so I had to buy their album to get it. Always found that strange...
oh wel, thx for the upload, (like i said) been trying to replace this movie forever. =D now If I can only find the Mathew Sweet Video...

Ra-Calium files are from Original R2 DVD (that released in France) but subtitles are from HK-DVD source.
This is not RaC's fault. He who offered the DVD's to us gave them that way.

So ofcourse fansub or checked editions must have better quality subs. But as for video quality, this one forwards a step ahead.

I have the Manga UK dub on the computer from capturing my Manga Australia tape. Will merge Audio file with video, re-encode and upload when I can upload.
