First volume by N@K was rely bad quality so someone from M-U re-leveled all pages to make it a bit more readable... if he/she/them decide to do the same on vol 2&3 I will replace n@k volumes with m-u volumes. ;-)
If m-u releases v2-3 i will upload original volume zips ;-)

While I thought the anime was well (well!) worth it's time, the manga is... well... not so good. At least to my tastes. Manga based on anime that are any good are few and far between.

This description I do like.

I guess I should continue to scan the rest of the artbook, since this just came in.

Since these are just scans of the Del Rey release they're missing the few colour pages and the interior dust jacket illustrations of the original Japanese tankouban, all of which are quite nice. Just a head's up for anyone really interested in this series (which I loved and bought).

I own all three of the US releases (hell I own 1-2 in JP too).  These manga are trippy and very different creatures from the anime.  To not spoil anything, there's naked family stabbing antics.  Yeah.

Great! The atrocious scans were replaced with Version4's scans.

Not what I have found. I can try and upload it as soon as I become a power member though. Should have it somewhere.

The anime was relicensed by Funimation, hence it's absence. It's still easy to find elsewhere, even official streaming.

Having read the book by Alexandre Dumas in french (my language) , I really really loved the story. Has anyone read both the book and the manga and could tell me if it's worth it, if the thrill is still as deep, the genius of the author still as clear ? Or is it a level below ? I kinda remember having seen a long time ago a japanese (I think) adaptation of Michel Strogoff that was really trying to get the same quality as the original book and was doing pretty well imo, so I wonder about this one !
