The new version looks like it was passed through an automatic white balance filter. From a publishing point of view this is bad because it prevents proper colour reproduction of the work, if done without a colour chart. If one doesn't have a colour chart then an ICC profile for the scanning device should be used and further tampering with automatic white balancing should be avoided.

The file size is enormous, but the quality of the picture is so low. All lines are robust, there's a lot of dust on the white surfaces, all the blacks are gray and on top of that there are a lot of white stains all over the picture.But we can contenue the discussion in the dedicated BakaBT topic.

I still have this (vol 1 only) lying around (stored away) with my other manga. I always enjoyed this Mangaka's ideas and his art is always amazing. Now I can finally find out what happens!
