Jeez, I've been waiting for a group to successfully make a BD version for ages after THORA dropped the project. Considering this is spectacle galore production, this is just meant to be on a full-size screen.

meh. not my cup of tea. I'm an action and mecha fan, not really into sports anime - so i was on the fence when i started watching this (kawamori tipped me over into watching) I didn't like the protagonist, too bratty imo. Then the whole series devolved into yet another save the world schtick (but i suppose that was to be expected since mecha are involved 
) Overall, it was an "experience"; i didn't really enjoy this anime, it's plot, characters or character interactions; but i liked how S. Kawamori channelled Megas XLR

I would have to saw i was iffy at first about watching it because it was said to me a sports anime BUT I thought it was amazing i like the story and most the character's def a must watch it doesnt feal like a sports anime while watching it is very good and has alot of exciting moments . Gotta love Mechs mashing each other with huge shinny Basketballs !!! lol XD

i had been waiting for a BD version (720p preferably) The filesizes seem rather large for this series. is it actually a good encode or just bloated?
I guess i'll just snag this for now anyway. Anyone know if anything was changed for the BD version? I.e. censorship or aditional scenes?

is it actually a good encode or just bloated?There's apparently a lot of high-motion scenes which requires the high bitrate/big file size.

urgh... not my thing. i know exactly which demographic this was made for, and those to me are the most annoying people on earth. the animation is well drawn and fluid (even the CG is decent) but the characters are unlikeable and i HATE basketball, and instead of the giant robots making it bearable, they made it even worse with their frankly STUPID brand name sneakers all the damn time.

Why doesn't this site ever have anything in 480p? Hard as hell to find stuff in a lower quality like that. Poor as hell and can't afford to upgrade my computer to something that can play higher. Too bad, I would have liked to have seen this.

Really interesting series, but damn if it didn't have that usual rushed ending feeling that series like this get sometimes.
