Too many comments; didn't read much. Hope no one gets offended by my asking if this had Russian dub/subs? According to AniDB, TSR release was said as such; but yes I know Mr. Takeshi already said/made a correction in the beginning of the comments that it was single audio. Please help me, I am still planning to free up space in my drive so I'm waiting for the reply to see whether it's worth DLing, no offence. Hope to hear from you soon.

It has Japanese audio with English subtitles and is the best encode of the Death Note anime around.

Probably. This R2 DVD encode is better than every R1 DVD encode I could find.

Thank you very much Sir Taiyou-kun for the reply. After reading though, turned out, I had to check the AniDB as well entry and if I understood correctly, they had the Russian dubs/sub as a separate project - but not a batch - of some sort.

No and there never will unless they decide to release a Bluray remaster of the series. The dvds are already upscaled, so doing an HD encode would be pointless.

I've checked Yellow-Flash version, the quality is absolutely better than both TSR and Virus's version but that version lack of all the next episodes's preview, I thinh this is really a big problem :(

Hey Guys ,As I think the best encoding for death note is racalium but its now very rare to see>so if anyone is a google search king and can get it to bakabt<<i will appreiciate it :'-( :-P
Ra-Calium encode is from R2J DVD Box Set and with soft Karaoke and Uncensored

Nope, Yellow-flash release is definitely shit which also uses horrible vorbis 11x kb/s something audio, cut previews, & Subtitle styling is  horrible with 2.9 or something fat shadow & way uglier worst fonts than TSR has used. They used R2J DVD's to what a waste.
The only possible replacement to this as of now would be R2J DVDRIP By sono1998 with beautiful 448kbps untouched AC3 Audio & TSR original subtitles.
