Update: I downloaded the first episode from AniMecha and I can confirm that their release has sub issues; the last 15 minutes of the subs (VobSub) are missing/not showing.
File specs of other dual audio releases below.
V-A: MKV (XviD), 704x480 (4:3), 23.98 fps (~1080 kBit/s), 2.0 Vorbis (~114 kBit/s), SSA + SRT
a4e: OGM (DivX5), 640x480 (4:3), 23.98 fps (~830 kBit/s), 2.0 Vorbis (~135 kBits/s), SRT
aW: OGM (XviD), 640x464 (4:3), 23.98 fps (~700 kBit/s), 2.0 Vorbis (~175 kBit/s), SRT
You'll notice the aspect ratio of the V-A release is somewhat off, this can be adjusted by your player though. AniMecha has a similar issue, but they are missing subs, so they're out anyway. Like I said above I cannot find the a4e and aW releases.

HOOOOO Boy! gotta love the artwork in this! I first saw this fansub on VHS way back. Got the DVD eventually.
I have to check to see which group's version I have just to be sure it's not missing anything like you say.

For those who haven't seen this yet: for story continuity, I recommend watching episodes 5 & 6 first, then go back to 1-4. It'll make a LOT more sense. The only reason I suggest this is because Eps 5 & 6 are actually what happens before 1-4.

Downloaded this along time ago and redownloaded it not too long ago for the dub; and may I say the dub is horrible.

I've had the series on VHS (dubbed) for a looong time and haven't been able to watch it since my VCR broke. So glad I can get the subs. Thanks a bunch.

Comparison with Soldado?They're currently releasing new encodes, 1 ep released so far. Will look at it later on.

Sorry I've been a tad slow with the new encode, bunch of projects are keeping me busy. I'll get the rest of these eps done soon enough, redoing yatta stuff is a pain, lost my old yap files.

I did not consider the AniMecha release because it appears several episodes are missing 10-15 minutes of English subs.
I've not been able to obtain a4e and aW episodes (.ogm) for a possible comparison.
