I watched this show a few months ago. This is my kind of show. Dark,depressing, and fucked up. The ending did make me want to rage. I liked all the political and historal references. I also LOVE this soundtrack. It felt very heavy and foreboding. It reminded me of kikaider's soundtrack. It just fucking works.
I like show's that move at a slower pace. I don't always want instant gratification. Like Naruto without the filling.

Sigh..why is it that B-A's subs timed wrong?The subs are like 50ms to slow. having to fix that and remux every episode was so annoying.
50ms?
So, they were off by 1/20th of a second?
Why does that even matter?
All i could think about when it appeared is how i could hear the characters talking before the subs showed up. I honestly don't know how people could put up with it, it might not seem like a lot but its annoying to me.
And yes i know that this reply is 7 months late, i totally forgot about this show since it was so terrible i had to drop it.
O__O is dual audio who cares if you cant read the sub titles xD!

No. Because dub is ELEPHANTDOGBULLSHIT. People who watch dubs basically throw HALF of what the directors/producers put in for you. It is no different from destroying it. Even the dubs which people claim to be the best and more epic in English is not enhancing it. They want to enhance it? Release it in 720p and 1080p with 5.1 to 6.1ch Japanese audio. That's how it's done. FLAC is overdoing it though. That's more unnecessary shit.
And @Tylerr, I understand completely. I fucking HATE it when subs are not in sync. Delayed or advanced, it just fucking sucks. At least some QC would be good. Releasing an anime with late subs isn't good for the reputation of the encoding group either.
Anyway, I'm picking this up because all the fucking mainstream ones whether old or new (mostly new) fucking piss me off. What with their moe ecchi fanservice tsundere yandere fucking dumbass, lame, overly used and common archetypes.
Browsed through the OST. Man, I love it. OST like MONSTER, Ergo Proxy, Bokurano, most especially Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (classical oh fucking yes). Can't wait to get to it.
