This is an absolutely stunning transfer. I usually don't go over 5gigs for animation but my daughter loves this film so much I thought I would treat her (and myself to be honest) to the best version out there. Unfortunately I have to watch it with the english dub because my daughter can't read the subtitles quickly enough.

Ugh... :-/  I really don't know why I have so many problems with files that I download from this site.  Most of my .mkv files that I download elsewhere are compatible with my PS50C687 Samsung tv, yet this file and others that I have downloaded from here (Sword Of The Stranger among others) don't work.  I get an error message that the codec of the file is not supported.

Who rips these files and do they choose some kind of weird format?  Why are they not compatible with my TV when almost all other .mkv files I have downloaded elsewhere are?  Am I the only one having problems with files downloaded here?

I'll be honest, I'm a little envious that you even have a TV that's directly compatable with .mkv videos at all!  I can't really help diagnose your problem, but I can highly recommend the free program "HandBrake" to convert whatever file you download from BBT into a format that should be compatible with whatever video player you're using.  Hope that helps!

Maybe because they are blurays?

Samsung has problems with Flac and Ogg codecs, perhaps thats the problem. If it comes to running movies on my Samsung TV using USB-drives I convert them to MP4 with AAC audio. (burned in subs). You could try to update your tv's firmware. That worked for me to extend my Ogg support on audio files.
