Its a pretty good show it sure passes the time though with some laughs. The video rate and size is pretty good and the sound is spectacular on my system. I give it a 8/10. And yes i just gave it a 8 instead of a 10 cause I like to rate things realistically. If you have a show that you would like to know about or want me to rate from my point of view hit me :-P

I loved the series except for the last episode where the writer or writers have a complete mental melt down as to how to end the series. Throw away their attempt at a ending and the series is very good.

Agree.

Many GAINAX animes often end like this, first great but end in bad way (say frankly some time it can called nonsense ending).

Such as Gurren Lagann many fans love to watch just the first half but try to forget the final half and how it end (who can accept the fact that the hero become a homeless and travel alone like that right ?).

And for now Shikabane Hime that GAINAX took part in, seem no chance to has another season too (they mess it too much in S2).

Yeah that is true but if you think about it in there shoes they dont really want to end there series unless it like really sucked. But everyone doesnt want to end what they created. Like some shows that seem to be endless like OnePiece I dont know why but they are already over 400 episodes. :closedeyes:

A little off topic...
I didn't exactly like it, but it was an ending I could understand.
The hero basically became the new spiral king and acts as a eternal watch dog to guard against the abuse of spiral power by the freed races.

On a similar note, I've basically sworn off anything by CLAMP. To me they are the M. Night Shyamalan of the anime/manga world. Their stories almost always have a twist that, quite frankly, breaks my willing suspension of disbelief.

Now back to this anime. This series is one I've often heard mentioned but yet to see. Thanks for the up load.

I second those saying to ignore the attempt at ending the series. Otherwise it's a wonderful show. Seeing that ending was the most terrible thing I could have done.

*facepalms* I thought I could leave behind the horrible ending of Gurren and Maho had, the most disappointments out of others, you all forgot Yoko, just sad how they left her. How they also did a huge time skip on Maho and he is older and different, I wish they could have just made a different ending. Also made a whole explanation of why he did what he did instead of crying day in and out, ANY WHO... still a funny and good series IMO, gets a 6/10 from me... JAANA~ d(-_^)
