anyone else having playback issues with all of coalGirls releases, no mater which series i download by them they all seen the be plagued by really bad encoding like having the image invert all the colors or black blocks all over the video i dont think ill be downloading their work anymore and i know its not a software issue because all the decoding is done by my GPU i get the same results with the built in DXVA codec from MPC-HC and the Microsoft DTV codec. I have never downloaded any other series from any other group that has so many issues. F Coalgirls

Well, I downloaded Thora's 720p.This is disappointing, even on my 24'' monitor, Thora's has better video quality, less blur, more clean details, not as much banding. Man, I was so hoping to have this for my Archives, but I guess. not. So yeah, this seems to be a crappy upscale...tis a lie to call it 1080pi content really.)

I played the Visual Novel and loved it. The problem was, all the sex in the Visual Novel felt MORE FORCED then Utawaremono, and it was PRETTY forced in that.(Infact 5/7 of the girls in that game RAPE you.)
Also no hentai anime ever would get the treatment of 26 episodes, full quality musical scores, great voice actors, and such. Sorry, it isn't done like that. Bible Black, Words Worth, all pretty good, but they don't even come half as close to a normal anime in quality of music, animation, audio in general.
While this isn't 100% what the Novel was, it's 90% the same. I hate how some translations renamed the "Angels" to "White Spirits", it was much better as "Angels", made alot of stuff, well, make sense! (And made the story seem more important..."White Spirits" does not give the same impression.)
Overall, it's a 8/10 anime for me, but the VN is 9.5/10, it's only downside being poor & forced sex scenes...maybe character designs. PS3 / Anime had better designs, I guess, but not as charming, really.
EDIT: Oh, I managed to find a Utawaremono torrent in 1080pi by THORA, 22GB...very clear and nice...sad it can't be hosted on here.)
It seems that THORA only will go with 720i: http://www.thoranime.org/?p=1266 so I suppose that yours is an upscale.

These screenshots look better downscaled to 720p.
However, seeing how it's Freeleech AND i strongly suspect that it's only freeleech because it's so huge - I don't really mind.

I'm sorry but it appears there is something wrong with this torrent. When I DL it it goes straight up to 1MB/s and more but after a few seconds it goes down to 9kb/s and remains there. I tried restarting uTorrent, I even DLed the newest update since it might have been a bug but I don't think so.Also, when I tried to delete the file (after quitting uTorrent and deleting the .torrent file) it said it was in use and I had to use an application to force delete it.
Not really sure what to do with this.

:-(is a booring animeIt is not boring, it is quite fun, epic and awesome.... well maybe not that great but is more than worth seeing to the end. I was kinda amazed with the storyline and the characters play. Surely a little more action would have gotten your attention.

I didn't really expect much from this, but it was good. It's very epic sense to it, not much slash and dash but very good quality to it.
Of course, not much romance, but it just seem like the main character is just gathering a small harem which isn't really a harem. Overall, I like the plotline and enjoy this anime.

Does anyone know if this is as good as the visual novel was? i particulary enjoyed the game but wondered if the anime is worth it or not (downloading either way but just was curious)
