From what I can see, these are soundtracks to several French animated series, not anime. Therefore, this is not anime-related and won't get accepted.
Once Upon a Time... Life and Once Upon a Time... Space where re-broadcast in Japan, hence there being AniDB pages for them. Kind of a stretch for them to be accepted based on that, however.
EDIT:
Yeah it's complicated... So what? Nobody's reading this anyway
I read it. I'm still confused, lol. You're obviously more familiar with these titles than I, so hopefully I'm wrong. My non-anime assumption is based on what I read from Wikipedia, IMDB, and AniDB.

sashamaru, this is exactly the same as Ulysses 31. Mainly a French production, but made in Japan with mainly Japanese staff.
The first show (Man) was co-produced by Tatsunoko (look at 00:35 in the opening) and clearly made in Japan. Why would they have a Japanese soundtrack anyway, if they hadn't made it in Japan in the first place?
The second show (Space) wasn't credited to the Japanese at all. Shame! But Eiken, the company that made the actual show (as well as "Life", aka Micro Patrol), renamed it to "Ginga Patrol PJ" in Japan, and properly credits Barillé as the original author, Manchu as mecha designer, and René Borg as character designer.
The chief director and animator is Tsuneo Komuro. In addition to Michel Legrand, they credit Masahisa Takeichi and Kouji Makaino with the soundtrack. I guess they remade the BGMs for the Japanese market and totally ruined it, just like the Japanese ruined their own BGMs for the Mysterious Cities of Gold and Ulysses 31 (other prominent French-Japanese shows with great soundtracks). At least they didn't do it with Micro Patrol, when they released it on video in 1991.
It's also worth pointing out that Makaino (of Creamy Mami and Bubblegum Crisis fame) made the excellent soundtrack for the Versailles no bara TV show, while Michel Legrand did an awful job on the Versailles no bara movie, directed by Jacques Demy. In the same vein, Michel Legrand also made music for Oum le dauphin blanc, the first French-Japanese coproduction that I know of, also made at... Eiken, and with similar people (René Borg, Tsuneo Komuro), but without Albert Barillé.

Since you yourself have ripped these, Melsan, may I ask why did you not rip to some lossless format (preferably FLAC) or at least 320 kbps MP3? Lossless, or higher bitrate MP3s, would perhaps not add (much) to listening experience but they definitely would be better for archival purposes, at the cost of at most a gigabyte or two.

Because it's already 450MB...
Ideally, I have about 40 to 60 CDs I'd like to release here, mostly very rare stuff.
I first decided to release them in FLAC, and then realized it would eat up a huge portion of my music partition. I don't really see myself keep doing it forever, while I'd like to be able to seed those files for the years to come -- so HQ MP3 seemed like the best solution to me.
Plus, I'd already ripped the CDs for my personal listening convenience, and didn't want to re-rip them again. But shhh, that's not the official reason.

Well, for one thing 192 kbps is not high quality MP3. Somewhere between 192 to 320 you can still hear differences including the famous "rolly ends" effect. Plus, the mere prospect of you offering 40-60 CDs doesn't really justify holding back the better bits from us. Not trying to be an ungrate: 192 kbps is far better than nothing; but we should try to make you cough up as much as possible while we can, shouldn't we?
Please reconsider. eristic

Oh well, it's approved already. Thanks, anyway, for making these available to everybody, Melsan.

I'm doing this on my free time, you know. If you were paying me, okay. But right here, right now, you should be happy that some people are doing the dirty work.

Please reconsider.I don't think it's so important for CDs that aren't ultra-rare. I would consider it more for A-Girl than for Once upon a time, because it's rare.
Anyway-- my CDs were approved, so you should be able to listen to them now. If you think they're not interesting, the point is moot. If enough people love some or all of the CDs, I'll consider releasing FLAC versions to replace the MP3 versions (I think this can be done, as I noticed today that the Blue Submarine 6 CD set was replaced with a FLAC version and the old MP3 version is no longer onsite.)
Right now, I'd rather spend said free time on converting my CDs, whether in FLAC or MP3, without having to waste more time discussing with bitrate nazis

I'm currently doing a FLAC version of a CD I just received today (another rare item I'm happy to have gotten hold of.) The resulting FLAC folder is 240MB. You see, I'm not entirely against FLAC. I just think it's a bit overkill...

If we could get everyone to agree on an ideal format, I'd be all ears. 320kbps, eh?

I edited the description to add a link to a file I just uploaded to Megaupload, the soundtrack to the French animated movie "La flûte à 6 schtroumpfs". I'm not uploading it to bakabt itself, as it's not Japanese, but it's a very rare soundtrack for all animation enthusiasts. Plus, it's just that good.
NB: Songs are in French, as one could expect. There are still plenty of BGMs on it.

I already love the soundtrack.
When you reconsider doing this/the rest of your outstanding collection in even higher quality, please do it in FLAC, not in 320 mp3. Thanks!

I see. Well, I thought it for archiving purposes, as it was said earlier by someone. But maybe it is needed only for the ultra-rare stuff. All in all I wanted to order a copy on ebay someday, if there will be one available.
Still, a FLAC version would be great someday. Maybe in the future (years later) when HDD capacity grows even more, we will have more space to store it in FLAC. It won't be too much space on a 10-100 TB drive...
The important thing is to remember.

I'm not saying I'll never do it... But I'd rather see some publisher reissue these CDs. They're really good!

Man. I've been a member at BakaBT for a long time and i can't believe that, after looking for the 2 CD edition of Once upon a Time...Space for so long it was right here under my nose. My mistake is that i always search it using the original french title. LOL.
I grew up watching this. Along with X-Bomber and Future Boy Conan, this was one of my first contacts with sci-fi animation. Many thanks for these soundtracks.
Just out of curiosity... you wouldn't happen to have the 2 CD soundtrack for Ulysse 31/Ulisses 31, would you?
Once again, many, many thanks

Most of the tracks are ripped directly from the episodes, as the original artists didn't have a copy themselves.
I remember that a site also offered a few more tracks to download, the author re-performed them by himself, they sound great. He'd like to release them on CD but it seems unlikely that it's going to happen, unfortunately.
Edit: found the site, thanks Google... http://www.parallax.fr/1.accueil/accueil.htm
