The monitor i use is the super bright Acer AL225W BTW I still get black bars watching current anime & tv shows.
About the luminance levels those can be adjusted. Not to mention DVD's and anime loolk hella better on the PS3 via DVI

The reason anime looks "hella better on ps3" is because the ps3 is restricted to the 16-235 range rather than the computer range of 0-255. If you set your playback configuration correctly there should be NO difference. The other major issue that computers can have is vsync issues, which while are sorted out about 99% of the time by the filters and codecs, there is still that 1% where it can be a royal PITA.

I've been downloading the whole batch to get the rest of the show for a couple days now. 
The torrent is split into s1 (1-20) / s2 (21-50) cuz that's how the existing torrents were.
Feel free to upload the s2 one if you have 21-50.

I meant the Luminance levels. The deepest black of this show seems to be at around level 30 or something not 16 as its supposed to be (not accounting btb). Hence everything is greyed out. Is that normal?
