Yeah sorry, a sardonic sense of humor doesn't translate very well over the internet without an accompanying tone of voice. I'm aware of the Diana Wynne Jones novels and and the floating island of Logic, Laputa (the whore). I was just making light of the fact that if Ghibli were to animate the sequel, one of the first questions raised by our dimmer associates would be that very one I posed.

Howl is actually an Welsh Earther, real name: Howel Jenkins

No, no.  I'm quite sure that Howl is in fact a Middle Earther, real name: Howl Baggins.

I'd like to try to make a flying model, looks maybe a bit easier and better explained. But I never did papercraft   and this looks too much of a job for one person  :-/

I tend to use art type papers, artist sketch pads etc that are between 100 and 150 gsm, as copier paper tends to be too thin for most models

Just finished this as a christmas present for my sister, was my first papercraft. quite a challenge i must say, but enjoyable none the less. instructions are good, but i feel like i could revise them to be easier. dunno, i would if i could edit pdf but maybe later. i should take some photos
