The Idolm@ster was pretty damn good. The story seems to be told in a similar style but in a completely different setting. If anything just for episodes 20 and 24 shedding those manly tears will be worth it.

And along the clannad line the tomoyo plot is worth watching via videos of the visual novels. And Tomoyo After was also extremely good, but I will warn you of the numerous manly tears that will occur.

Episode 1 is corrupt or something... Plays up to about 2 or 3 mins, then restarts the episode. If I click 5-10 minutes in, the clock goes back to around 4. I am using VLC media player, and I had the same problem (sort of) with Kaichou wa Maid-sama. Help? :-/

VLC is known for having problems dealing with an .mkv function known as "ordered chapters", which is used with this release.

My suggestion would be to use a different media player, specifically, SMplayer2( http://smplayer2.srsfckn.biz ). It's just as easy to install and use as VLC(use the mininstall.exe found at that link), but supports more container/codec functions, particularly those used in modern anime releases, like ordered chapters and 10bit encoding.

Should you, or anyone else reading this, decide to use it please read this page first: http://mplayer2.srsfckn.biz

Whatever you do decide on, just know that VLC will not properly play this release and it will have the same trouble with many bluray releases.

You can disable the "Ordered Chapters" in the VLC preferences under Input/Codecs > Demuxers >Matroska. Make sure "Ordered Chapters" is unchecked. Make sure you have "All" options and not "Basic" options clicked, or else you will not find these sub-menus.

The simplest fix is to update VLC... 2.01 fixes this and you don't have to stuff around with settings
