Why loseless for an anime series that is only dvd quality? just wastes bandwidth for people that have low caps.

Is there a dual-audio or English dub of this? I have poor eyesight nowadays, and am having trouble reading subs.  :-/
Nope, and I wouldn't count on one ever appearing. The only attention this series has gotten from R1 licensees has been Viz streaming it subbed on their website awhile back. (With worse subs than mine, I might add.) I can't see any other distributors doing a dual-language release of it, since it's old, low-res, and 4:3. There's a very far outside chance that Sentai might pick it up and release it on DVD, but they'd do a sub-only release.

 As was explained in earlier posts, the DVDs did in fact have lossless audio, and using FLAC for DVD-quality (assuming the source justifies it) is no better or worse than using FLAC for Blu-ray rips. Besides, the ordered chapters pretty much cancel out the FLAC size increase, leaving these files no bigger than typical E-D DVD-rips that use AC3.

wow cant believe they didn't finish the anime thumbs up u guys broke my heart so unfair to the story so disappointed read manga don't bother with the anime complete trash

I don't entirely disagree, but was there any reason this had to be three separate posts? There is an edit button...

I felt much the same way back when I first saw this in 2005 (and I hadn't read the manga), but I later realized that woefully incomplete adaptations like this were pretty standard for longer manga. It's best to simply enjoy the pantsu and the comedy while they last.

I know exactly how you feel. This has been on my list to watch for over 4 years now and i keep moving it down lol :nugget:
