Agreed!
There are no subtitles, so the comments aren't translated.
Edit: I'd like to add that most of his comments are about introducing band members to the audience and naming the title of the next song (as far as I understand). So I don't think you'll miss anything very important there.

This looks fantastic, and audio quality also looks on the high end. Thank you (somebody!) for caring! I'm hoping that this will live up to the potential ...
If anyone familiar with this wishes to post any few words of review ..?
*quickly dashes off to manage hard drive space for impending torrent ...*
_______
[ EDIT: Have listened through the first half. Oh-so-very nice!
Two files ~1.5 GB each, but first one is ~1 hour, the second is ~1.5 hours. Switched over to the high-quality soundstream and slapped on some studio headphones. Oh my! my! my! Some very tasty sound quality, and I turned the volume up quite a bit to really drink it in. Was VERY worth it! Got a huge stage loaded with a full orchestra and two chorus groups, plus some bad-ass Japanese drum kits for amazing percussion. Lots of electric juice to modern rock instruments to carry the day against that backdrop.
Yes, my friends, it is pretty glorious and does orchestral justice to piece after piece after piece. One thing in particular that struck me (so far, now ~ 1:20 hrs in) is that the musicians are having a mad great time. The energy they've assembled on stage keeps them smiling like schoolboys back and forth to each other.
A great time was had by all, and I regret only that I wasn't there for this performance. However, this wonderful torrent is definitely a great runner-up prize.
One small note, which doesn't hurt the experience on a 22" monitor but might be an issue on a big 45" TV screen or something, the compression on the video can be noticed in full screen mode. Just some loss in sharpness, but it's clear the encoder sacrificed a minor bit of video quality in favor of really superior sound quality ... which is as it should be, in my opinion.
THANK YOU!! ]

Soo many old farts on the stage. Very mature and different from other recent japanese concerts that I have seen. ie : Cosplay/pop culture concerts with tinny-bopping high pitched voices, that need to hire a professional choreographer.
I think that there are many good japanese female singers out there, but if you sing like a 12 year old and never let your vocal cords evolve, what happens to you when the trend changes and you can't adapt?
Anyhow, excellent upload. I think I might have heard Gundam 00 somewhere in there. (Can't tell, it all sounds alike). ((But aWsome!!))
BTW: Is Sakamoto, Maaya's recent birthday/anniversary concert blacklisted? Wondering why I have not seen it here. There is allready a dvd and hd rip on toshokan/nyaa. God, I love her voice.
Edit: It's great to see the orchestra theme from Avalon. However, I think the original was done with the Prague Orchestra.
Think it was the same fat lady though.

hmmmm.
This is not flagged as a freeleech torrent, but I just figured out that I have infinite ratio because it's behaving like a freeleech. Just mentioning that in case there's a technical glitch that needs attention. I see on the peerlist that some folks are getting dinged on their ratio while most everyone else is not ... so, I'm cool either way but I'm also a fan of everyone playing on a level field, too.
[ EDIT: When I posted, it said Freeleech: No and the friendly green [F] wasn't showing next to the torrent ... & I'm aware music videos are (usually?/always?) freeleech. That's why I posted the comment. Seemed something was off. Earlier tonight I was getting database errors when attempting to connect with the site and the torrent tracker flickered in and out a few times. All cleared up within ~1 hour. Dunno if related, but just seemed something weird might be going on. Thanks for checking! ]

Ok maybe noobish question, but is the singer at the beginning of the second file maaya sakamoto or not. Cause i hear sakamoto, but her first name soudns more like miya or something like that. Plus i dont remember her looking that way.
On another note, this is a very good upload. I really loved it! Especially the sonds with those women in kimono singing ^_^
So i wanna say THANK YOU Slasha!

Ok first of all, I only meantioned maaya sakamoto because she is a good singer and that I was using here as an example of how real talent should sound like.
Ok, now to answer Nihon182 on wheather or not it is Mayya:
It does'nt look much like here, or sound like here, that is unless she aged 10 years and was singing in her manly FFXIII Lightning voice, )if that is even possible)
Both Kawai and herself use the name Miya Sakamoto. However, the sentence structure and voice during the dialect are similar to that of Maaya Sakamotos'. But the singing is not.
Crap man, I would like to know too. I guess I'll just google it somewhere....Until the mystery is solved....
Edit: Ok, did a little digging: The singer/song writer is actually Miu Sakamoto, who is the daughter of Akiko Yano, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, who are both great musicians. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akiko_Yano
BTW: You only hear of singers like Mayya Sakamoto/Origa/Akino Arai because they've done some excellent part in anime.
I'm listening to some of Miu Sakamoto's songs, ie "SWAN DIVE" and I'm loving it. Was wondering where I can acquire some of her albums for a decent price. (Torrents or buy).
