[quote=RageStorm]I just finished watching the anime. Calling it f*cked-up could very well be the understatement of the century!
Seriously, this one disturbing anime with no saving grace as far as I'm concerned.
If you're considering watching this anime, I urge you to reconsider. Just my two cents.

Re-reconsider. It's deliciously terribad. Mindless fun, entertaining enough to watch one at least. Certainly no real depth to it but I enjoyed how twisted everything grew to be.
I disagree with the "terribad" bit. The series is brilliant if you can take gore, making some salient points about the nature of mindless and rabid devotion, what happens when survival is crossed human nature, the role of God in modernity, and time manipulation. Admittedly it begins as a mystery/mindless bloodbath but progresses onwards into something much more. Gasai Yuno is enough of a draw, perhaps being one of the most unforgettable (for reasons both bad and good) and complex characters to appear in an anime in recent memory.
