Transformers Beast Wars II - Lio Convoy's Close Call! [H264] [ARR]  

Is this an sequel to the Beat Wars that had the 3D animation, or is this entirely different?  

I've watched some eps and i've seen optimus primal from the 3d version in the anime in some eps.This comes from the Parent story here

I have the series, but only half subbed and at a crappy resolution. I submitted it before but it got shot down. I really hope someone completes it.

the first  12 eps beast wars 2 are almost dvd quality and beast wars neo 1-8 i would say are a step down in quality than BW2 that  i have subbed but yea it would be super sweet to have the series done realy nice

The Canadian-made CGI Beast Wars had three seasons, as you may fondly remember. (Then it had a sequel series called Beast Machines which sucked and ruined everything.)

Between seasons 1&2 of Beast Wars, Japan got bored and wanted more Beast Wars, so they made it for themselves as an anime called Beast Wars 2. It's mostly about what Optimus Prime (called Convoy in Japan) and Galvatron were doing in some other part of the universe during Beast Wars.

The movie in this torrent is a movie sequel to Beast Wars 2.

And then between seasons 2&3 of Beast Wars, Japan got bored again, so they made Beast Wars Neo, another sequel series to Beast Wars 2.

The writers of the modern Transformers comics say that the anime is basically canon, which means that it happened and is an accepted part of Transformers, after some adjustments and artistic liberties, because the Canadian CGI writers and Japanese anime writers weren't the same people and they didn't communicate with each other, so they wrote conflicting things in a few places. But the basics of Beast Wars 2/Neo are just fine, and are a valuable addition to the story.

To bad it doesn't come with english dub    i grew up with transformers and i'm used to english speech...

Yeah i remember the rest of the toyline (not counting the ones from the original Beast Wars) and always wondered why were they never in the cgi Beast wars. Guess they're from the Japanese version (aka Beast Wars II). I think i got this from Emule ages ago.

Oh, ok. That explains and clear things up a bit. So, basically they made it as a side story/ squeal. I have the Canadian Beat Wars and the reason I asked was because I have never heard of this series or ans squeals before. First time I have heard of them. But interesting enough to watch that was part of Beast Wars.
