Thanks!  :-D

Manga UK's dubs are a thing of beauty; They may tinker with the script but the actors were always sensational!

Sensational indeed! For me Cyber City is the best English dub I've ever heard (to memory), for those who don't mind Cyber Punk characters with tourettes, along with the combination of making one laugh with the most unthinkable swear words put together in one sentence.... It's a sure winner!  :-D

Things like Wicked City, Monster City, Hokuto No Ken 80's movie, come to mind as well for English dubs, which I don't mind at all over Japanese voices.
Actually even Street Fighter II The Animated Movie English dub wasn't too bad either (as well as 'better' western soundtrack to it).

By far the best english dubbed anime, i remember watching it for the first time...the feeling...oh what great times. It's great to watch it again in such clarity.

What software are you using to play the file? There are four audio streams; Given that the Japanese dub is stream one, it's probably defaulting to that.

"Track 3: English Dub with Rory McFarlane soundtrack - MPEG Layer 3 - 192 kbps"

F-yeah! Usually I'm die hard fan of original language version with intended ost but heck, Rory (lol, Loly) McFarlane did helluva of a work for this piece. Imma gonna kill mah ratio with it!

I personally like it more, but that was the version I first saw when I bought this on VHS in *faints* 1996.

It's well worth watching, but I don't understand the love for the english dub that's being shown in these comments.  :-|
Granted, the actors doing the work are far better and more professional sounding than most anime dubs, but it's still not that impressive when considering voice work generally, and it clearly doesn't come close to matching the quality of the work done by the original, Japanese cast.
On top of this, the changes to the script are all just terrible! I didn't hear any changes that were necessary in any way, nor any that could possibly be considered an improvement over the original, whether considering comprehensibility, style, etc.
I enjoyed this very much, I just don't agree with the comments singing praises to the eng audio. Unless one is dislexic or illiterate, I recommend the original audio with the eng subs, which are actually very well done! :D

I presume most people are: a) foreigners (like me), b) have bad memories thanks to 4kids/other dubs over 4kids licenses (that's me), c) don't like "cheap plastic" 80`s (3rd time me)

Original audio/voice work in CCO808 is like:"oi, Ken-kun bakayaro EXPROSIOM desu" with little enjoyable music of the era present while English dub is decent ost with few gems there ("Truckin" is my favorite here, I've listened to it roughly 300 times) and legendary swearing. Find me another anime which got this level of F*CKs per minute  but for real, I wouldn't go as fad as

-I can't recall how they did but my impression was, most likely:"they did their job, nothing more" in this case.
And I will defend this dub/ost re-work since it's my favorite dub next to NGE and Spirited away (I SO want to say same about Polish cast of Bobobo, who played roles incredibly well but we had translations off of 4kids license so awkward jokes, missing sentences and rest of the "poor translation" combo).
