Ah, I wish that they would release it without english dub. I mean, what the use of sub if you had dub?  :-/

Sorry not trying to be insulting, but that's a silly question considering the site and nature of most fans.
A better question for many fans is "why include the dub if you have subs?" :P

Really it's just a matter of preference. Some people want to watch anime regardless, but they like reading subs less than they dislike listening to poor English dubs. Some people however prefer to hear the original Japanese or just hate bad dubs more than subs.

However considering how small a sub-title track is compared to an audio track, it is NEVER a waste to include sub-titles unless the anime is one of the few english only dub versions.

If you include both, then everyone gets to satisfy their own preferences.

I fall in to the "prefer to listen to the Japanese track even if the English dub is pretty good" category. So subs are are must.
But even so, I have friends who just don't like reading subs, so they often won't watch something unless it is dubbed :( Unless it is something really good and even then they would still rather listen to dubs.

Oh! I see now. Thanks.  :-)

It's not like I hate dub. But in my opinion, the simpler the better. The less content it has the smaller the size get.

There is something about this version that is making it not work on my Xbox One. The joseole99 K-On release works just fine, and it has similar stats, so I don't know that the heck happened. (In case you want to know, yes, it works fine on my computer.)

10 bit

no Xbox can play 10bit video as far as I know.
Playstation systems can do it through the built in media server service.

I suggest a quick handbrake job if you just wanna watch it, and avisynth if you plan to archive it. Re-encode the video to an 8bit format and it'll work fine.
How does XBONE go for FLAC audio (when you encounter it)?

From personal experience, everything I have attempted to play on my XB1 (through the built-in media player app) has had some kind of issue. Whether it be 10-bit video, video codec it doesn't support, the inability to switch audio languages, or their "full" mkv implementation not actually doing anything with subtitles. I was disappointed that I had to go pick up a Chromecast just to watch stuff on my tv downstairs. Oh well, at least it can play Titanfall and Destiny.

Well, some people choose subs because they prefer the voice acting. Coming from someone who has dyslexia I often prefer the Dub as well. But just because it's dubbed don't mean the people who like the subs cant enjoy them too.

So, I finally managed to get my hands on the elusive and expensive R1 DVD Vol. 6 of this series. Which means that I can now provide complete scans of the liner notes that have information on some of the references and language-based jokes that take place throughout Lucky Star. Those scans, along with similar scans for other series, can be found here.
