BakaBT has this version: http://bakabt.me/154608-scramble-wars-box.html
I think this should replace it (unless we want to keep BOX in slot D), because there are certain problems with the existing torrent.

1) Box is hardsubbed, and it is a strict re-encode of the video in the version I'm offering now (WMV -> xvid). 2) From the looks of it, BOX's script actually comes from the SupernaturalyDense release too, but they used some earlier version (there are two standalone SRT files listed in anidb), apparently with mistakes (quoted from torrent description at the meow non-tracker that used to have a giant flash vocaloid in the good times):

(...) english subtitles originaly from the old SDDF VHS release, revision 3. Some signs were fixed/added. (...)
Note: The BOX recompressed/hardsubbed release uses the first revision of this script that has some mistakes, including an embarassing one.

I'm guessing that the "embarassing mistake" is supposed to be this (Dense has 'capital' there in V3).
My theory of how that happened: the original OCRed script used Ital for name of the guy from Gaiarth, but it was later weabooised to Itaru using auto search&replace (and not checking the results, lol). The dude later fixed the false positive hit in "capital", but BOX used an earlier revision (and they also didn't spot it when checking).

Okay, here is a comparison of video (#2 and #3 are taken with subs for both, rest is without subs, except, naturally, BOX which is hardsubbed): http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/113651/

P.S.: One more thing - I suspect the video is using PC levels (instead of TV levels). If you know how to do it, you might want to switch to PC input levels for watching - it will prevent the overburning of bright parts like skin tones and other detail will be improved.
(In ffdshow: - force RGB32 output in 'Output' tab and set input levels to "Full Range" on the 'RGB conversion' settings tab; don't forget to revert the settings to auto later!)

Meh, if this release is better then just replace it.  I'm not exactly attached to the box release since all that I did was upload it.  Though I personally like the thicker subs from the box release.

Thank you so much for posting this! I watched this as part of the "Super Deformed Double Feature" in the mid-90s and I've been looking for it on and off ever since. Still hilarious! 80s and early 90s anime is really where it's at. Anybody else spot the Mospeada references? ^.^;

I bet there are, but I don't know that anime, so...

There are guys from Megazone 23 III, Riding Bean, A.D. Police and Madox, besides the obvious stuff...
