I'm really happy to see this semi-approved ... BUT ...
I notice that there is a "v2" over @nyaa tid=328485 (not the 312512 in first post). Size doesn't seem to match exactly (?) & upped 03 Jul. Same filename, but no CRC to go by.
Is a swap due to happen before this gets to seeding ..?
Thanks for getting the encode & offer together! One of my favorite anime for the entire past decade. Really understated story in many ways, but an intense, quiet Sci Fi great. Arigatou!

@datora: I totally forgot about that. This one here is the v2, nyaa tid=328485 uploaded at 03 Jul. If you want to help seed, you can grab that version. The previous one is 1080p, but I deleted that because I'm not satisfied with it and the source doesn't really warrant a 1080p release.

Grabbed it off Nyaa overnight & seeding that right now; will switch over when it goes live here @BBT. Figured I'd want a copy one way or the other ...
If I'm near my computer when Approved happens I'll definitely jump on the seeding. Busy, hot day here, though. We've had storms in our area have knocked the power out several times in the last week, with more due for today & the next few days ... so ... can't promise anything other than Good Intentions.

[ EDIT: 'Kay, so I happened to be here when it went live ... I shut down pretty much everything else & you guys are burning up my router with the best U/L speed I can give you. Looks like about 5% every few minutes, so should have a nice pool in under an hour. ]

You may want to change the first sentence in the description, as it's just a list of clauses, and sounds really awkward to read. I know it comes from AniDB, but it sounds just as awkward there. Perhaps changing it to start with "It is the near future," or maybe describing what happened in this near future would help.

I wouldn't really compare this to Chobits... CLAMP and Yoshiura Yasuhiro are to anime what Michael Bay and the Coen brothers are to cinema. Each has their fans of course.

How is this compare to THORA's version in terms of subtitle? Any thoughts would be appreciate.
This is one of the masterpieces but somehow I think it doesn't get quite the same treat as those. (Some average popular harem animes even got better!

I haven't exactly watched this with THORA's release, but as far as I skimmed through, THORA's subtitles used a mix of subtitles in a way that complements each others' weaknesses. I can't say for sure about THORA, but IMO you're not missing out on the story with either release's subtitles, translation-wise. As far as editing go though, I must admit that English isn't my first language, so the editing is more likely to be worse in mine (though most of the editing were taken straight from the O-L's subtitles).
