Alright, subtitle neutrality it is. Need a comparison of this vs AQUA. Whichever one holds up, can replace the others (assuming AQUA's script is good, I haven't seen theirs).

pantywraith, I don't think it's anything to do with translation at all.I didn't watch S2 but it was perfectly possible to convey the same meaning in the lines with/out incorporating the speech quirk to make puns.
It's just a case of if you can stand puns or not.
To me, it has very little to do with the Squid puns and just the fact I felt the CR script was much more concise, and to the point.
