Over half the budget went towards boob physics.
This is nothing like the manga. I think its just piss poor acting, and its just plain f-ed up....I don't remember it being this stupid in the manga.

You should take a look at the manga again. This OVA is like the first few chapters 1:1.

Seconded. This OVA is exactly what i had going on in my head when I read the manga. It's pretty awesome the tape removing study session got animated. My favorite scene from the manga.

Well maybe i'm less sensitive to the characters in a manga then an anime....anime seems to draw out the critic in me...
