The offer is meant to replace two old rips of the series currently hosted on BakaBT.

Based on a very, very quick look at episode 1, the framerate is ~23.976. Anidb says it's VFR, so there could be some parts at 29.97, but most of it is 23.976.

By the way, how come there are no credits and no preview of the next episode (in episode 1, at least)?

It is due to the source used: the first R1 DVD was made that way.

New description was provided by Reesebiz.

I suppose with the concept it'd be hard to avoid, but this was one of the most depressing anime I think I've ever seen.  If not the most, then at least in the top three.  I remember buying the DVD box set when it was first released, got the soundtrack and friendship pendant included.  Still have it, actually.  Memories...

I say depressing, but that doesn't change the fact that this is an excellent series.

Don't you hate DVDs R1? Me does  :'-(
By the way, if I remember well, the episode 2 doesn't have that too.
I don't know about this E-D release but previous projects, which used the same source, were like that.

I am not seeing dual audio here in MPC-HC. A problem on my end do you think? I can't stand to watch this in English, but I'd really like to see it... T.T
