I'll - Generation Basket  

Offered as per the forum request.

Now, files are mostly original. However, MangaScreener have removed all links on their site and it states not to search for this manga on IRC too.. However, redex on their blog, redirects to a non-affiliate site hosting the MS releases of I'll, so I've gotten the M.S files from there. As for the other files, the ones from redex until Volume 11 are original and obtained from their site. From then onwards, there are quite a few broken links[M.U] and non-scanlated raws on their site, hence the remaining chapters are obtained from MangaTraders.

Also, I've slightly renamed files because they were out of order[Volume 6 by M.S]. Since it was obtained from a secondary site, felt it was ok to do so. And also the volume files of redex to reflect name of the manga and the scanlator[s].



Also, screenshots are taken to represent various people who've worked on it.


Also, the manga has the name I'll, while the OVA over here is named I`ll. Seems minor but neither shows up when one searches for the other. Any suggestions on what is to be done?

Some wonky naming with regards to chapters:

Are they read in the order that they're organized? I'm also wondering why the "i" isn't capitalized in the file names.


AniDB has a fetish for substituting apostrophes with the grave accent (backwards apostrophe). Use a proper apostrophe in your search "I'll". I've renamed the OVA accordingly, they'll show up now.

Yeah, they're supposed to be I think. Least, it looked to me like a short special back when I had the same doubt and verified that. MS also released them the same way. hahhah42 actually did send me the original torrent of MS, but due to some problem[I wasn't able to connect to other peers, and when finally I did connect to a single one, I got speeds of around 2 KBP/s. So I gave up on that..].

As for the "i" not being capitalised, I got the MS releases from an affiliate site, which was mentioned on RedBarns. Most of those files were named "ill" or "i'll", hence I just opted for "i'll" in this case, easier effort. Also, since redex were rather inconsistent with their naming, I had to rename them to suit naming convention. Their files ranged from just "Volume 9" to "[Manga FR] I'll 10 [SA].zip" to "Volume 11". I would be highly reluctant to go back to that naming..

That being said, since "i'll" was more my choice than "I'll", do you want me to capitalize it on the file names? Noteworthy mention also that MS named them as "I'll" on their official files(which I couldn't get), got the torrent and was able to check around a week after my offer.. Also, will change the search link, thanks.  

Yeah, I think capitalizing the "i" works best. Otherwise, I'm fine with the naming convention you've used given the circumstances.

So that was the issue? I didn't have a problem downloading it, but I never seem to seed it... Anyways, if you'd like the official files, I could upload them elsewhere for you.

Could you do that? Maybe to MF or someplace else? That would be really swell, thanks! If uploading each individual chapter is too much of a hassle for you, you could just create nested volume archives with original chapters. That would probably be easier.

It's not really a "fetish" but an overlook made in the past in the database statements. Because it's rooted so deep, no one is really willing to touch it there. I believe they'd want to get rid of it too if it was a matter of snapping one's fingers :]
