I've heard of Shuowa, he was that dyslexic emperor. Thanks for uploading, seems relaxing and has nice art. Also, Shouwa girls like that one are great, just my type.

that was my fault. it was "showa" before and i wanted the torrent to show up in the search with both spellings, but i accidentally added the "u" at the false place.

This is why I love you leechers. The show barely even gets subbed in the first place, and now you want the DVD version?
Welp, it looks like the DVD boxset is retailing at around 6800 yen at Amazon. At around $86, even with shipping it's practically a steal.

I would define it as a "slice of life" for old people : nothing special or amazing occurs, it is just every day life of a standard Japanese family in the 60's... But not so far from an occidental family nowadays
Whatever, a very pleasant and refreshing show.
I like also the ending songs (every episode has a different one) and the "leisurely walk".
GotWoot subs are sometimes "freewheel", but at least they did it !

August 12th 2012 (9 months and 6 days)A ton of thanks to GotWoot for finishing this anime. Started to watch this again a week ago, and I fully enjoyed each episode. It's not very entertaining per se, but very interesting for those who care about history and Japan.
