P.S: We will also sub the movie and expect the batch soon. There will be some minor changes in some of the episodes so we will have v2s coming in the batch. Of course, we will provide you with the patches.

A ton of thanks to GotWoot for finishing this anime. Started to watch this again a week ago, and I fully enjoyed each episode. It's not very entertaining per se, but very interesting for those who care about history and Japan.

Show can be discussed here.

Hopefully, the background music CD will show up here soon (see the end of ep12).

Yeah, not sure why they didn't just delay the episodes and then release everything with batch, patches and individual episodes.

The Japanese part of the torrent title is misspelled. It's currently spelled "Shuowa" when it should be "Shouwa" - It's spelled correctly in the description, though. ;-)

I've heard of Shuowa, he was that dyslexic emperor. Thanks for uploading, seems relaxing and has nice art. Also, Shouwa girls like that one are great, just my type.

that was my fault. it was "showa" before and i wanted the torrent to show up in the search with both spellings, but i accidentally added the "u" at the false place.

Interesting, I have a weakness for anime like this with distinctive settings.  Thanks for making it available!

Does anyone know if there is gonna be a version from DVD or BLuray or something?
I hate those TV markings, and some strange noises like a bell I heard in the first 2 episodes..

This is why I love you leechers. The show barely even gets subbed in the first place, and now you want the DVD version?

Welp, it looks like the DVD boxset is retailing at around 6800 yen at Amazon. At around $86, even with shipping it's practically a steal.

I would define it as a "slice of life" for old people  : nothing special or amazing occurs, it is just every day life of a standard Japanese family in the 60's... But not so far from an occidental family nowadays ;)
Whatever, a very pleasant and refreshing show.
I like also the ending songs (every episode  has a different one) and the "leisurely walk".
GotWoot subs are sometimes "freewheel", but at least they did it !
