Good romance series, but it became Kimi no Iru Machi Frustrating in the late 40s-early 50s chapter , but finally manage to get a good closure

Slow moving Romance.... no wonder the Main Character is nicknamed Granpa  

The most awesome romance manga I have read recently. You really see the main characters struggle in a realistic and believable manner.  I love these characters. Even when they lightly dip into manga tropes and annoyances they are still a lot more believable than your average manga couple.  Very recommended

Probably should ignore my comment.. I really did like this one, but this was my first manga along with Koibana Onsen and TnH[I'm calling dibs on it], So I tend to look at it with rose tinted glasses. Still more decent than some I've read recently.

Haven't Read much yet but it has to be good, Granpa even has "Suomi" t-Shirt!

A very good manga. I wonder what's happening with "Chisa x Pon" (has the same creator), cause it's been stuck on chapter 8 for a couple of mounts now.

One of my favorite series I've read in a long while. It's quite full of cheesecake at many points, but the characters are 10x more believable than most. Almost sad it's over.

Chisa x Pon is the same author, but I believe it was written before Hetakoi and just hasn't been fully translated yet is all.

Absolutely fantastic.

Don't let the picture fool you this is by no means a "harem" set-up. The Main character is not splitting his attention between tons of girls or being wishy washy about picking one he likes. Nor are their tons of girls trying to win his affections.

All the relationships are very realistically done and I was never caught with a situation thinking, "That would never happen in real life."

That being sad it's quite a roller coaster ride, especially around the middle where it seems everything is just going to hell.

This one really sticks around in my head. There's some nudity and even sex but it isn't excessive and tasteless. I have qualms with the sheer, vast, density of the protagonist. His chief trait is density. That and he doesn't seem to appreciate the twin-tailed twins twin twins, which men should. I'd like to know if his nickname is "Jiji" or "Ji-san" or "Ji-kun" or what, if anyone knows at least I would be pleased if you shared.

There is ultimately one moral to this story that I find myself hoping but not expecting the unwritten and purely imaginary future holds for Shizuka:

I LOVED this manga while reading it and will read it again. At least she (the creator Junko Nakano) got to finish her work.

If your a fan of manga, give this a read. It's not perfect, but you will be entertained.

Very sad news Saphiro01. I don't usually post at all on torrents, but Hetakoi has been one of the better mangas I've read in a while and deserves a read through IMHO.

As everyone has said before, the characters, their emotions and reaction to circumstances are believable. There are nude/sex scenes but all in good taste and not overly done.

This has got to be one of the best romance mangas I have read in a while. I got so caught up in the story and the characters I was actually mad for a while. I finished it in less than 24 hours but I picked the absolutely worst place to stop - figures. It was on my mind all day until I finished it.

Definitely recommended, the story, the characters, and the art are all wonderful. I can say, thankfully this was able to be finished - it would be quite a frustrating story if she wasn't able to finish it before she passed away.

I'm surprised at how much I like it.  It started well but soon had me raging at the beta-male fantasy world.  Despite that I am still hooked and can't stop reading.

This is great all things considered. The totally clueless MC is pretty awful to watch though, probably the worst I've managed to endure.
