I prefer the manga but overall, its a nice anime. I'm eagerly waiting for the second season and I'm hoping for some improvement.  :-D

I can see now why my friends recommended me to watch this. I really am enjoying this show, although, everyone has got they're own opinions. But really, this is one great show, considering the animation and everything... it's Production I.G. that's why...

I tried two episodes, and I'm not so sure I'll like it. The show is feelings itself a bit too much, and I think the premise will take all verisimilitude away - despite it being an animated show. How can a person be unnoticeable to everyone, even when he is key player to all the games? After one game everyone would be on the look-out for him, there zero plausibility that he could remain unseen on the field and make miracle passes. I still prefer Slam Dunk, but I'll give this a few more episodes before I call it quits.

The truth is there are such people. One group that specializes in these things are what we call "magicians" who are really just illusionists. The show is simply fictional and thus an exaggeration of real life. But these people do exist. See all those street magicians who seem to have no proper props, but yet seemingly stake themselves into a seemingly sharp spiked fence? Or those who seem to know what underwear the person is wearing, when the seeming can't see a thing.

These are all optical illusions, as well as some people being good at coming, moving and going very smoothly and suddenly. I do not wish to boast or anything, since I'm not that good at it, but often I have had no choice but to take certain vital roles, and yet nobody ever realizes I did, seeing that I don't really like being in the foreground, and the background feels much more comfortable for me, so often people get a shock or get surprised and say I shouldn't sneak up on them, when the truth is I was just minding my own business, but I just like moving fast and hate staying around the same area/thing/people for too long, seeing I'm an extremely restless person and my priorities are balance, efficiency, effectiveness, speed, dexterity and final overall results.

So there are some people, many even better than me by far who can decide to either show their presence or hide it, some even at will. I've seen them before, and only similar people would actually notice them in general. In fact, in real life, there's no "time limit of efficacy" like Kuroko has. In real life, these people (at least those I've observed) seem to go unnoticed completely for any length of time, even endlessly if they really wanted to. Yet they are often the people who are one of the keys to the success of various projects and the like.
