Marking freeleech in honor of it being the oldest release on BakaBT
Over six years old! I wonder if this was actually the first torrent offered.
I know it wasn't, although I couldn't tell you which one was. I do remember a couple of years ago (During the Box years) that there were a couple of older ones at the bottom of the pile. Sailor Moon's first season hardsubbed was one of them.

Just wanted to say before I download and watch this again, that this is one of my favorite series. I love the manga as well, but the reason I enjoy the anime more? The voice actors, especially when singing. I absolutely love the music for this series, and it certainly has heart wrenching moments as well.
This series is one of those that all people who enjoy fine quality anime should watch, at least once.

this anime remains on my hall of fame list. it's so innocence and has a great story.
even if the story does not apply the life lessons in this anime are precious.
better than clannad.

i dont know if it was the pms or the ending but the last ep i cried. Do not ruin this by skipping to the end the point of this isn't just about the end its about getting there. Also the singing is really great. I hope they do a dub if they haven't already but keep the same girl they got to sing it
sorry about the double post i got connection issues

I noticed that this torrent is not freeleech anymore -- sucked in those who did not get it while it was
Great anime, but glancing down at the subs (can't turn them off because they are hard-subbed) I see a lot of mistakes. They seem to get some relatively simple things wrong, and they often actually reverse the meaning, which actually adds a new comedic element to the anime when they have to also adjust the meaning of the next sentence so that it makes sense with the incorrect translation.
But then again translation is a REALLY difficult process, and I can not say I have done much for the translating community, plus none of the really important bits are mistranslated; usually just little quips between meroko and takuto which only have any relevance to the episode they are in. But it is just funny to see them able to correctly translate quantum mechanics, cognitive psychology, civil engineering and cultural anthropology, but then translate "I think I should take some stomach medicine" to "I think it is the stomach medicine (which is making me feel sick)".

What a lovely, touching, positive story this was. I enjoyed it all. The characters (including voice acting), the songs, the relationships, and how Mitsuki's life transformed thanks to her own determination, inner strength and kindness, and of course, Takuto and Meroko. People could learn a lot from watching Full Moon wo Sagashite

I am using MPC via K-lite and I have a time stamp in the upper left -hand corner of this. I can't seem to turn it off. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Edit: Well, the time stamp is still there using Windows Media Player and VLC, so I guess it's from the rip and not removable.

I'm in love with this anime. Atashi wa sore ga daisuki des^___^ It was so touching. so romantic.. and sometimes even so sad... T___T Some of my friends say that this anime is just for children, but I don't agree... it's about real love for the things one loves... and about not abandoning ones dreams. It just reminds you about being yourself... In one word GREAT*.*

May 18th 2010 (3 years and 1 month and 1 day)To expand on that for those reading the comments: The problem isn't just that they're hardsubbed -- it's that they're hardsubbed with different colors for all the characters. Hardsubs aren't too much of an obstacle against someone armed with SubRip and a lot of time/patience. However, that's if they only use 1 or 2 colors. Multicolor subs like these (and Static's My-Hime/My-Otome, and many other fansubs) are an absolute nightmare to try and OCR. Typically it doesn't take me more than 45-60 minutes to OCR one episode, but doing it on one of these took over 2 hours. And that's before taking the time to correct errors, adjust timing, and manually add special subs like signs and songs. So basically, hardsubs + multicolored subs + lots of songs/karaoke to do + 52 episode length = many obstacles in the way of doing a softsubbed/DVD release, which is why it hasn't happened until now.
However, several entities including me, Shin-GX, and Rabbit-Force (igro, above) have taken an interest in creating a DVD version with these subs. So if you can help out, possibly by transcribing a few episodes, get over to the forum thread or Shin-GX's blog and make your voice heard.
