also if you loved this video, i would highly recommend finding Gunsmith Cats...it's from same author/artist Kenichi Sonoda...who also did character design for original Bubblegum Crisis and Gall Force series...

it's pretty rare since it's from one of the earliest release from ADV which i don't know if they make anymore of those DVDs...but it has great music, shooting and chase scenes, and awesome dubbing from early ADV voice actors including Amanda Lee and Kimberly Yates...

and yes the plot doesn't make any sense from Riding Bean to Gunsmith Cats since Rally Vincent does appear from both OAV series....but Bean DOES appear in the manga series however they are NOT partners like in this OAV....

The Riding Bean OAV is best considered to be some alertnate universe, because there's no good way to reconcile it to the GSC OVA and manga. It's worth a watch, tho.

Wow I was just thinking about looking for this. I never did get to see this one. I just started to go through my shelf and went through the GSC Manga and thought i've seen those old commercials about Riding Bean but never bothered to watch it.

Of ALL my AnimeEigo dvd's I have bought over the years,this one,has got the most play on my dvd player !

I wish one of the studios in Japan would take this and make a series out of it...Or at least give us another OVA....

I bought my copy of GSC,on dvd,years after it went OOP.Too bad ADV wont renew the license.I think I paid 35 or so for my copy,used.Worth EVERY penny...

The lack of "sense" is thanks to kenichi being forced to abandon further production of this "series" over some dispute with rights over characters... so he formed Gunsmith Cats

There is a BD of this, no-one pirated the full BD though. There is a 1152x864 rip by QTS raws, but that one is overcompressed, sadly.
