4 year old CPU, not too surprising that it's choking on 1080p.

Pffft.  My computer lacks the processing power to play this video?  Wow, this hasn't happened to me since 1998.  Perhaps this is a sign that this torrent goes a little TOO overboard with its 30 audio tracks, 16 subtitle tracks, and 9 uncompressed 28,619x15,840 video tracks.

Is there anyone else who is having a problem opening this file in MPC? It wont just open for me. It works on WMP, but not MPC...
Any other 1080p movie works without problems.

Would 2.4GHz, GTX 260, 3gig RAM, be enough to play this movie?
I dont want to download it for no reason xD

Should be ok. I have Q6600 2.4GHz quad code, 4GB and GForce 8600GT, and it plays fine in VLC.

Ok, I'm catching up on some Ghibli films I haven't seen and I'm wondering. Is it recommended to watch Lupin III, then this? Or can I just watch this and be ok.

This is an independent film. You don't need to watch the series or any other films to enjoy this one.

Both use the same sources for subs.

I've got a tech question. I'm going to be holding a Miyazaki marathon at my college and I'm going to be playing everything on a DVD and Blu-Ray. I'd prefer to use this version over the U.S. DVD versions of Cagliostro but is there any way to get this file to run on a PS3 with the subtitles?

If you can play an mkv on your ps3 I'm surprised. If you have changed the format (or if you want to keep it mkv), whatever program you can use to re-mux together all of the files should offer you an option to select "default" on some of the tags. Make sure default is on for the Japanese audio and an English subtitle. Try that, see what happens.

Sorry if that doesn't help.

I'm curious. Did the Japanese BluRay come with both the Manga and Streamline dubs, or did you add the Streamline dub?

The Japanese BluRay comes with neither - it has only 3 versions of the Japanese soundtrack. I've added the dubs from other sources.
Incidentally, Manga Entertainment dub seems to be the closest to the Japanese original.
