can someone please seed I really want this movie

current ratio 94 seeds:1 leech, so perhaps you are not connected to our tracker or your client is configured incorrectly. In either case, the forums or the wiki can help you figure out where things went wrong. Please don't request seeds in the comments.

As for the film, most importantly, I want to say it felt like time nearly stopped when I was watching it. Not in the typical sense of absorption, but like the movie was twice as long as it really was. I don't know whether this is the biggest compliment I can give the it, or if it's actually a criticism -- for any other work it would be, but with an atypical work that deals with the nature of time passing, and even entitled 5cm/s, I think it may have been artistic intent.

Overall I liked it, it was touching, however the visuals were by far the most compelling part. The central themes of time and distance eroding human connection, misplaced coincidence, those almost-moments that we wish would happen but never quite attain, are handled well, but I don't think it's a masterpiece-level work. It made me feel, but I was left wanting something....

I'm not too sure which to pick from GROUP A.
Please tell me which is better than the other in video and audio quality. Thanks.

Oh and I don't usually listen to eng dubs. So don't add points in its criteria thanks.

For some reason when I switch the audio track to japanese I get no sound. Im using cccp with media classic and its worked with every other dual audio file Ive used. The english audio works fine but that wont do ;o;. Maybe its an audio codex or something that Im lacking. Ill try looking into it myself but if anyone else has had this issue maybe they can provide meh with assistance. Thanks for the torrent irregardless and hopefully I can find out whats wrong~.

erm, sorry but..can anyone tell me why there's an infinity symbol under my share ratio for this and other torrents? is it because they're freeleech or because i've seeded so much..?
thanks.

Edit: ignore my question, found it in the wiki

Why is this torrent smaller and in higher quality (with dual-audio) compared to the other "A" torrent done by niizk?

a great movie...a couple lives far apart...the end like a normal person would be...sad ending though(to me)

For some reason I always like your posts, I'll take your word and with my initial curiosity about a Shinkai work I'm fairly confident this will be a great movie too.

After two days I got around to watching this. I found 5 Centimeters per Second to be a very moving story. This collection of short stories captures the beauty and harshness of reality. You could exchange 1000 letters and both your hearts will never get closer, only drift away with the passage of time. Long distance relationships almost never last, because people need actual physical interaction. I was willing him to hold on until I saw how many girl's hearts he crushed and what he had done to himself. This is a masterpiece to me, I love all of Shinkai's work.

Not sure why you have no reply. Look at the bitrates, that'll tell you everything. Also, according to the above screen shot comparison, this one is not higher quality.

I have yet to watch to watch this movie and I am doing my best to stay away from spoilers and all the sort. lol. Still trying to figure out a way to upload more and give back to the community. Thanks to whoever uploaded this and to all the seeders of course. Already had the movie in a lower resolution, definitely couldn't pass up the opportunity to upgrade.

Umm...I'm the one that originally "made" this release, and the guy running Nerd Culture.

This video is not "encoded and translated" by me, just remuxed. If I recall correctly, I just added the dub from the original DVD into the new Bluray encode from THORA. I think there was some timing issues, so I may have shifted the audio a bit. I don't quite recall.

Frankly, I'm surprised this torrent still exists. I posted it on a local anime forum several years ago. Anyway, if the seeders ever run dry, ping me and I'll reseed.

Is anyone else noticing it's switches to mono in Japanese but it's stereo for the English dub? It could be on my end but CCCP is up to date.

EDIT: I fixed it by tweaking some CCCP settings. If you're also having this problem, this is due to your headphones/speakers not using 4.0 channel audio and you're going to want to configure it so it'll downscale properly but this depends on whatever output your using.
Simply put, google it if you can't figure it out yourself but it's fairly straightforward.

Just a nitpick in the description:

They don't keep in contact through email at all... they keep in contact through conventional mail.

By the time cell phones are more common, it's the second episode when communication has pretty much been cut off.

MPC-HC automatically selects the English audio and displays no subtitles.. How would I configure the settings to display the original audio and subs?

Is it just me, or did anybody else notice about a 0.25 second delay in the English audio track? I don't really know, but the entire anime seemed like the audio was about a quarter of a second slow. I'll go check on VLC and see exactly how far out, or if it was just mpc

Edit, I have found it. It seems to lag in vlc also, by the same amount no less..
0.16 seconds to be exact. Did anybody else notice this? or was it just me or IS it just me?
If anybody else does come across this, set your media player to de-sync the English audio by +0.16 or 0.16 seconds earlier than it plays by default

Yea i noticed to, but it wasn't a big enough deal to worry to much, but still a good upload and quality wise was awesome!

The simple answer, No, it will play fine. Assuming you use correct audio output decoders and settings, standard settings from install of most media players etc... will be fine, if you adjusted it to suit your particular setup, may be a bit different, but most of the time, it will work perfect.
