Check out the earlier posts (esp. the 2nd page).  I had originally offered the SFW version,  but we compared the video quality of both versions and decided this was better.

This version is quite a big larger though (~2.9gig vs ~2.0).

Have Russian Subs used their own translations as they did for the first season?  If so I would be wary of this.  Their first season was pretty awful with each episode sporting literally dozens of errors in grammar.  If they've found a native English speaker for editing/QCing then that's a different matter.  I have to say I wasn't too impressed with SFW's video work on this second series based on the 2 episodes I watched, but I think they're really waiting to do the HiDef versions.   Not an easy call.  I think I'lll wait for the Blurays....

Well I mean ecchi is refreshing at times lol, but if its not a comedy it's kinda odd xD
I completely agree that this show has potential for story but then again it is based off a pervy Japanese (gasp pervy jap thing) game where you try to cut off your opponents clothes XD it's only natural to have boobs in every scene

Could you add a subtitle alternative in the attachments? (You have offered both versions, so could you demux them from SFW)

That would be a good idea. As far as I know - regarding EP2 and comparison I've made previously, the subs timing should be approx 1:1 with the encode.

And I was also thinking about Muxing subs (adding them) to .mkv, which is straightforward work (thought the official crc's would lose their point). And the other question would be the chapter marks. I'm not sure (I can't remember atm) does the newly muxed .mkv (by adding just one sub track) save the chapters to the file. But creating chapters (for OP/PartA/PartB/ED) is not overwhelmingly hard.

i dont know, all i say is: that even though there was boobs every scene, the ridiculous lack of a story left me day-dreaming most of the way through the series, i think if they get over that problem then it would be a good show

Also, how should I name the .srt files I generate?  Should the base name be the name of the [SFW] file it came from (with checksum and all) or the name of the Russian-Subs file so vobsub can pick it up (but could be misleading because "[RS]" would be in the file name)?

I think (this is my opinion) that you should preserve the original file names with SFW subs in the attachment. People who wants to use them, can either load them separately with RS video/encode (alternate sub stream), or rename the files as they please. Otherwise - as you said - it would be misleading.

Edit: and I would keep them as .ass with styling as they were in the original SFW release (this again, my humble opinion). =^.^=
Edit2: the video resolution in both releases are 1:1, so there will be no problems with .ass "PlayResX" "PlayResY" script & font sizes.

My bad, it is .ass.  I just saved with the wrong extension.  It still won't display correctly without the font that's attached to the .mkv file though (unless you already have the font loaded obviously).

It seems that the file durations of both versions are exactly the same, so chances are I'm not going to need to do any timing adjustments.

@Number6, true. Just tested it. When I load SFW subs as alternate/external sub stream, it uses default white font and it's extremely small. But when I mux it to RS .mkv, they display in correct colour but are huge... I think it's cause of the lack of the actual font files (SFW uses 6 different fonts in their mkv as attachment).

But the main point is that those who wants to enjoy SFW subs, can do it with your offer and attachments that you are providing And they can use the methods that they want. And even if the subs are displayed wrongly compared to the original SFW release, they can enlarge or reduce the font size or change the style eg. with directvobsub font settings.

Slight problem.  There's two Japanese fonts that are way too big to be attached (about 5 megs each).  Searching thru an .ASS file, it looks like they're exclusively used for the OP/ED lyrics.

I've attached the other fonts. though.
