...do you have permission for this from the Baka-Tsuki people?

There is surprisingly little info on this series around the web, couldn't even find a wiki or mal page.
Any idea how many volumes are in it total? Is it three and completed or is it three and ongoing?

...do you have permission for this from the Baka-Tsuki people?1) Do we have permission from any fansub group? 2) Do they have permission from the original creator?

1) Do we have permission from any fansub group? 2) Do they have permission from the original creator?Well...there are "controlled" releases like a4e and groups like enter the blog who say we can't (check the wiki for details).

I'm not one who usually complains, but surely those scans aren't considered screenshots. I mean one blank page, another text page about the translator and other useless tat.
For future uploads, could you please upload screens of the manga itself. Something that shows the art style, how the characters look, and maybe some dialogue here and there to give an idea if the manga is for silly 13 year olds, or 20 year olds who still think they're 13.
Cheers

I think there is something different about novel translations. First, a novel translation is not necessarily meant to be passed around the way a fansub is. Fansub groups release files, which they naturally expect to be re-uploaded and re-downloaded in many ways. If the Baka-Tsuki translators wanted to do the same, that would be fine. But they are not releasing files to be passed around. They are putting up their translations on a website. From that, I would say the only thing that should be passed around by third parties without permission is a link. The fact that the uploader had to repackage things gives me pause. It is like ripping the script out of a fansub and redistributing it, or like using remuxing one fansub group's translation into a new release. There are certainly people who do it, but I think a fansub group (or just the translator) would have more grounds to object than where it's just a question of redistributing the release in its original form. Second, when you distribute a novel translation, you are distributing 95% translator's work and 5% original work, versus a fansub or manga, which still directly contains much of the original. I think the translator should get more say. *shrug*
As the translator of another project on Baka-Tsuki, if my work was being distributed here in this form, I would ask for it to be taken down. Fortunately in my case, it will never happen because (1) I will never get far enough and (2) my project is not popular enough for BBT

1) As you can see in the title, this is a light novel and not a manga. Therefore, there isn't really any art aside from a few illustrations that were included with the novel that aren't a part of the novel.
2) I'm in a bit of a rush at the moment, but later I will upload a picture of a page with dialogue as you have suggested.

...If you or any other translator/translation team does not want your work here, say so and that torrent would be deleted. If you feel that they are ignorant of what is going on, then inform them and let them decide. That said now I know not to do anything with the project you are working on (unless you go by another name there).

I guess I just don't understand the issue elwen, scanning through the bakatsuki forums I found two threads right off the bat on pdf files, one was how to make them, the other was a bunch of people out right asking for them, and more people offering them. If baka-tsuki had an issue with it I imagine the threads would be locked.
Furthermore one of the two threads I found, mentioned that Baka-tuski used to include a pdf conversion feature into the website, they removed it because to many people using it was a strain on their resources.
Sauces:

Hiya, thanks for the upload.
This story is epic in quality, such a shame that the translation isn't finished yet!
To the uploader: Thanks again for the torrent, just... it would be really cool if you'd laid off with the torrent until the complete series was translated.
I mean, it's a good story, but as with any story, people enjoy it the most the first time they read it. The same goes for the feelings such a strong book brings, they are the most intense when you read through it for the first time. Now if you have to wait for the latter half of the story, the emotions you had during the first volume slowly fade and once you can finally read the rest, they do get rekindled, but they never reach that certain deepness of the first read again. It's kinda like having sex with the woman you love the first time and while it'll always be wonderful, it's not as exciting as that single precious first time.
I'm not saying the upload now is bad, but it could've been better, in my opinion.
I have to say though, it's my fault for not reading the second part of the description thoroughly, I'd have waited if I knew it wasn't finished yet. Well, I'm used to finding only completed series here.

1) Nice analogy
2) That's what the incomplete tag is for.

Oh right, I completely forgot about the tag, thanks. Oo
Hmm, well, I guess that's what happens if you see it only rarely.

Great series so far. The TL is a tad annoying to read, but it isn't enough to affect the experience.
I hope the 'break' the author taking from the series soon ends. I can't wait for more!
Also, I wonder if there will ever be a manga and/or anime adaption...
