Some comparison (raw = Redone, MDC = ReDone-MDC):
1. MDC - raw
2. MDC - raw
3. MDC - raw

Spoiler

Description, description, heh... I hope later...

I used AniDB's relations for this series (TV special and Jump OVA not listed under Ichigo OVA) Also isn't Jump OVA just bonus from DVDs (I mean series)?

whoa, my internet start to collapse =O  D= ; sorry i'll be back o_O

Well...
The current torrents also have OVA and TV separated, but I guess the final word is for Zalis116... ;-)

Speaking of him, for those that perhaps wonder.

As near as I can tell, the Yui special (Come pick me up / Always on your side) falls between episodes 10 and 11 of the TV series. So, I labeled it as Episode 10.5.

It's been a long time since I watched the series, but  do remember the Yui special falling inside of the series chronologically.

they shud of really complete the anime with more seasons, its the very first anime to eva shock me with an ending like dat, since once u seen one story of highschool kids, uve seen mostly all.But it does have its good points,it cud be betta but the conclusion of the story makes up for the excitement lost if u got tired of it. :-)

I tagged the Jump Festival as OVA 00 because it takes place after the events of the TV series but before OVA 1 (the school festival episode). Yes, it was made in 2004 before S-100% TV aired, but I feel it fits better in the OVA torrent.

And in case anyone missed it, these are brand new encodes from the DVD .isos, which did have lossless audio. I haven't seen them, but unless MDC royally screwed up the encoding  :-P, I endorse them over the [ReDone] raw+remux version. Same subs and everything. Although for the fourth screenshot, I recommend using a slightly earlier frame that has the line "You call this a back door?!"

Considering AniDB lists the special, and jump fiesta with the series I think they should be left included with this offer.
One question thoe - [dp]Ichigo_100_Special[18B9007E].avi is episode 10.5 in this offer, if I'm not mistaken?
Confirmed it myself, yes it is...

Why FLAC audio? FLAC is not supposed to be used in videos, it's such a waste of space. Use AAC instead...

The video encode looks alright, and the FLAC audio is definitely a nice surprise. A trend that must continue to grow. ^^

OK, to explain. My encodes are straight from the DVD, no filtering applied (except IVTC and black border crop). Zero-Raws applied a sharpen filter. Now why would I not do this? Because there is no "correct" level of sharpening, it's all personal preference. A downside of sharpening is that artifacts get emphasized big time (as clearly visible in the original encodes).
There is not really a way to undo a sharpen filter in a lossless manner, so if I sharpen the video before encoding, then it can't really be adjusted after the encoding. Everyone is stuck at whatever I set the sharpen filter at (ie, in the case of the original raws, stuck at what Zero-Raws set theirs at).
So here's the key part, there's this simple little option in ffdshow called... wait, you guessed it... "Sharpen"... gee I wonder what that does! If you aren't using FFdshow, well, you probably should be unless you can't due to hardware constraints. In terms of quality and compatibility nothing else compares.
See this link, just checkmark the "Sharpen" option.

Play with it and you can set the sharpen to your desired effect, without me destroying the source material (like Zero-Raws did).

I am using ffdshow with postprocess, deband, sharpen, blurNR, deinterlace and resize all at the same time. Yes sharpen does create artifacts and noise but it can be avoided when encoded properly. All im saying is that why would the original redone encodes be swapped since in my opinion they're better. Sharp but no compression artifacts. If we all want our rips to be encoded with no enhancements and remain with the oroginal then we wouldnt be needing thora's or coalgirls encodes wouldnt we.
