I see way less compression noise in the R2 encode than the R1, but it seems like the R2 is also a bit squashed. Wrong aspect ratio, perhaps?

the offer is ment to replace the old encode from me. the a4e stayed up when the old offer got approved. i really dont feel like getting the a4e encode to compare. the video is uncropped so it has black bars on it. that might be why it looks a bit squashed to you.

the offer is ment to replace the old encode from me. the a4e stayed up when the old offer got approved. i really dont feel like getting the a4e encode to compare. the video is uncropped so it has black bars on it. that might be why it looks a bit squashed to you.why are the videos uncropped? not only is this uncropped but if you notice the red semicircle (bottom right)- this highlights an area that is missing data. it looks "squashed" because you didn't remux the proper DAR value.

If i crop the video you would not see that. Its missing video data from the source.

can anyone tell me how to get rid of the black bars i have a plasma tv that i hook up my laptop to and stuff like that causes bad burn in plus it simply doesnt look right
