That is some horrible naming. I would be up for a rename. Perhaps:

Toriko_XX_[GroupXX].zip

That will maintain many of the original filenames and allow slight edits to a few more but will overall make the torrent easier to navigate I think.

Thanks, just wanted confirmation from a mod that all :)

EDIT: Right I've renamed the files but just realised that I should wait for HWMN's chapter 123 instead of having MangaStream/Binktopia's release, it should be released within the next few day I assume. I'll swap then.

Keep this on hold for now.

It's a nice description other than the fact that the text colors make my eyes bleed.

This is definitely a must read if you're into shounen style manga. It has all the crazy characters, crazy beasts and a particularly interesting story development. It will also get an anime in april wich is also a point in its favor.

This manga really needs more love. It's one of the few shounen jump manga I'm currently following, the others are Beelzebub, One Piece and Hunter x Hunter.

Definitely one of the best currently running shounen manga (if you don't mind all the sort-of-asspull techniques), probably the only one which makes you hungry while reading.
The anime special by Ufotable was also awesome, I wish the second episode will be released soon.

Too bad the series will be made by Toei...

Hey guys!

so i just started to download this one, I never even heard about it until they announced it's anime adaptation and i found that on some charts. What I would be curious about is how much the story progresses (if it has one)? Or is it more like a action-comedy slice-of-life kinda thing?

Thaaanks.

Chapter 9 [draagon] just contains the 2nd half of Chapter 8 [cst] or rather chapter 8 is actually 2 chapters.

I thought the shounen was a little nomorino. But that's just my opinion.

I was thinking of dl'ing this but it hasn't been updated in a while. Could someone update this torrent so it's bit more current chapter wise?

Thanx

Yeah, it's really weird that almost no one talks about this manga...

The manga is more violent than the anime, but eventhough the anime is more colourful things look better and more polished in the anime. The art of the mangaka is kind of weird and not that good (even for my taste and i usually prefer 70s to 90s manga), but maybe a chapter is enough for one to get used to it.

It's a very enjoyable manga, i could compare it to classics like Hokuno no ken. Even Toriko's lines  remind me of Ken's "Omae wa mou shindeiru". And the whole Shitennou (4 havenly kings) reminds of the rivalry between Hokuto and Nanto in some weird way...

Seriously it's been almost an year since my last post and not a single new comment??? it's funny because the anime started around the time of the Mellow cola arc (which is currently being animated). The manga really picks up after the first 2 arcs (whici are the Galala Crocodile Arc and the Rainbow Fruit Arc i think). It's really good and i'm really hooked on the anime. I hope that one yeat later i'd be able to say the same thing. After the introduction of Zebra the level of badassery skyrocketed and i expect to see some UNBELIEVABLE bishokukai characters (Grinparch was the first to show his high level pet and that he's able to do a Dragonball level of destruction).

P.S. I just started reading the manga and i have to say it's wayyy better than the anime. There's so much info that they skipped in the anime and all the gore... If i had read the first few chapters i would have loved the manga from the beginning. I started with the anime and i fell in love with it like i said during the Puffer Whale Arc.
