Yeah, I don't have a problem doing patches for the 1080p version. I'll probably get it done some time in the next few days. Since there was no re-timing needed, I didn't bother extracting the scripts/fonts from Kira's release but just did 'mkvmerge -o out.mkv ane.mkv -A -D kira.mkv' for each episode so uploading the subs/fonts would probably be more work then doing the 1080p patches myself.Awesome. I just didn't know if you're comfortable grabbing a whole other version just to make patches, that's the reason I ask that. Some people don't want to waste the space/bandwidth, so that's really awesome of you. Looking forward to it

Jesus christ, I was seriosly scared in the ending, it looked far to familiar to an Doujin (with a very very bad ending). Glad it worked out better then I thought

What does the patch do and how do you use it. I'm guessing it's so you can play it on certain media players but am not sure. The animated commentaries in ANE's release don't have subtitles. The patches add the subtitles for the commentaries from Kira's release. To apply it download and extract the contents of the zip files to the directory containing the commentaries then run apply-01-04.bat and apply-05-16.bat (double click it or run it from cmd). After applying the patches the original files should be unchanged and you should have a number of files with names of the form "[ANE-Kira] Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai - Animated Commentary 01 [BDRip 720p x264 Vorbis].mkv" that contain the audio and video from ANE's release with the subtitles from Kira's release.
Note that if you downloaded the torrent from BakaBT then you have the 720p version and want the patches linked on the previous page of comments *not* the 1080p version. (Links: ANE-Kira-Patch-01-04.zip: FS MF MU ANE-Kira-Patch-05-16.zip: FS MF MU)

I was just wondering if anyone else using VLC has been getting a green screen while trying to watch.

I was just wondering if anyone else using VLC has been getting a green screen while trying to watch.its not only you its seems that VLC has some problems encountered like not playing smoothly, delayed (sometimes not even showing) subs, i recommed using cccp (http://www.cccp-project.net/) because it uses Media Player Classic.. and the video looks neat than the VLC, and most of all dont have any problem like the VLC has.. you might give it a try

The "true route" episode was SO SO SO bad.A big left turn at the very last scene. GAH!
Thank God there was another version..

hmm I get a green screen with VLC, and I can't seem to get windows media player to work with it after downloading cccp. Anything else I should try?

I wonder why only 720p version is available on BakaBT. Should I pick 1080p one at ANE site, or is it actually an upscale?

did you try using the cccp insurgent first before installing the cccp.. the insurgent helps you to remove some of the codec packs that might conflict with the cccp..
and also.. the cccp already have its own media player which is the Media Player Classic already included, you should not use the Windows Media Player.. after installing you should see the Media Player Classic Home Cinema in the start programs, the defaults setting should be fine.. although you might want to change the volume settings in media player classic..

I have always thought that this series is something but after watching imho it is worthless. apart from few nice and funny moments (like zombie-grandpa) i was srsly bored to death. funny thing is this series get better in last 4 or 5 eps. If i had such a sister i'd outright shoot her.
anyway thank you for the upload and ofc ANE thx for the encode but the series itself imho is a waste of time, as for me 3/10 at best...
