1st screenshot taken in VCL player to show that subtitles are really exist  :lol: Ep26 muxed by me with correct audio track. Also it would be really useful to know CRCs for others 25 episodes... Who have files too?

@Rislim
I need CRCs for comparison with mine to be sure that files aren't corrupted.
@CodeMonkey
Thanks. I have same CRCs of files on my HDD. All fine.

If you just want to verify the CRCs you have, I have these files from BluDragon too and here are the CRCs I got off of them:

@ Fafner00, I'm glad to hear that.

That first screenshot... that's not how the subtitles look, is it?

Ok I don't have the V2 of episode 26 so I can understand that not hashing but I am not able to hash episodes 24 and 25 with this torrent.

Weirdly enough all my CRC's match the ones that CodeMonkey provided.  :hmmm:

That is weird. All mine hashed fine, except the last ep 26 v2 which makes sense. Did you get yours off BluDragon's Fileserve too? That's why I was curious to see if Fafner00's CRCs matched mine, because I've gotten some screwy files from Fileserve in the past, plus I was going around their time limit restriction and got all the files in one day.

I think the files might have gotten corrupted when I was uploading them to my seedbox. The filesizes do not match so that might be why it wasn't hashing correctly. Looks like I'll have to reupload 24 and 25 to my seedbox again. Ugh.

Ah yes, that lovely shade of eye-cancer yellow.  Thought that was outlawed by the UN Council on Bio & Chemical Warfare by now ...  :whistle:

I'll survive it somehow.  Just wish that overriding the font display didn't screw the signs typesetting beyond all usability.

Anyway .... thanks much for the upload.  Image quality looks fairly stunning.  Only got about halfway through my last copy when I lost it in a hard drive crash, so I've been waiting for an opportunity to finally watch this all the way through.  Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend.  :-P

What is the source for this? If it's a Japanese Blu-ray, all well and good. But if it's the North American one, everyone is better off getting the DVD version, because the Blu-ray is a piece of shit upscale.

Yellow or white are the only acceptable subtitle colors. I'm quite glad to see that Central Anime aren't the only ones carrying on the yellow tradition.

It also has *the best* depictions of spear-fighting I've ever seen in an anime.

Any proof (comparison Japanese Blu-ray vs American Blu-ray) please.

That's the thing, I don't even know if there IS a Japanese Blu-ray. The show apparently did very poorly in Japan and never warranted an HD release. The North American Blu-ray is very clearly an upscale, and based on comparisons with the similarly atrocious NA DVD release, both are made from the same poor quality source, which often seriously looks like a low bit-rate DivX encode.

I own this Blu-ray, and its quality is not so bad, noticeably higher than DVD quality, even compared to the R2 DVD.
Quite enough for 720p, but still not enough for 1080.
