Just a heads-up about this one:

I had to repack chapters 8-20 and the Interlude because Kawaii Corner had a different password for each file. All of the files should unrar or open with Manga Meeya/CDisplay with no password prompts. Enjoy.

You should be able to run the 32-bit versions of either one since 64-bit Windows can run 32-bit programs. I use Manga Meeya but I agree with Cuan. Try them out and see which one you like.

And welcome to the manga club, by the way. :-)

The manga from what Ive read follows the anime for the most part. There is information in both that make the entire series  a well worth treat. The amount of effed up deaths are nuts  :w00t:  The series isnt done yet ... almost though.... and i have read 1/2 the manga. i heard it kinda gets different towards the end in the series vs. manga so thats why Im reading the manga. plus manga always has something a little different. Either way, anime or manga, Another is the $h!T

Of Course you mean that the anime mostly follows the manga, upon which the anime is based ...  ;-)

Discussion on the anime, just chock-filled with spoilers here:

The anime has generally been pretty good, although I personally found some of it to be a bit of a retarded stretch in places.  Sometimes going for slasher gore overrides the energy that could have been put into a much, much better plot.  A shame, really, since they could have included both, with just a little bit of creativity, and turned this into just about the best horror anime produced to date.  As is, still an excellent watch but falls short of true greatness.

Thank you very, very much for putting the manga up!  Looking very much forward to the differences and hoping the source is better than the anime.

So... The anime is based on the manga which is based on the novel? Or do you just assume the anime is based on the manga when it could be so that both are based on the novel and therefore might be different from each other (which was mentioned in a comment earlier)?

Anyhow, been wanting to read this for a while so I'm glad it's up here.

Hmm no...the anime is based on the novel and the manga is based on the anime script.

I think the Wikipedia article said that the manga is based on the novel as well. This was serialized in Young Ace from 2010-2012 and the anime didn't begin airing until January of this year.

is it just me or are the translations really confusing at times... there were a couple chapters where i had no idea what the heck was being said.. other than that, was pleasantly surprised by the concept.

I'm assuming by "remote" support, you mean using a remote control, yes? I would have to assume that Manga Meeya would work with a remote because the pages can be turned with the arrow keys on a keyboard. I'm pretty sure PC remotes have the same arrow functionality. It's worth a shot.
