Nah, because the OP/ED is in 29.97fps and the main episodes is 23.976fps, and CGi was just too lazy to do VFR. So he just linked in the OP/ED via Ordered Chapter.

» "CoalGirls"
The is 11 ordered ED chapters. It’s that way since it made my life easier as I didn’t have to deal with VFR that way.

14 separate ED files for 14 episodes? Excuse me, what?

The ED and the OP are 29.970 fps while the episode is 23.976. I hate dealing with vfr for various reasons, so OCs is easier with no harm done. After all, if I spliced EDs in, it'd be the exact same size with the same compatibility as the OP would've still been OCed. Feel free to make your own version if you find this unacceptable. Otherwise, please </topic>. Also, learn to count. There are 12 seperated EDs, not 14. 7 and 13 were spliced in as they were 23.976.

Time to get this downloaded before it opens to help with the initial seeding.

how is a 10 bit 720p blu ray quality disappointing?

How does this version compare to the recently deleted files from TenB video wise?

Because not all Blu-Rays are created equal, as some are upscaled or poorly authored. Not all encodes are created equal either, though I'm not one to judge Coalgirls' work here. If it's that disappointing, get or stick to the 480p DVD versions.

When you have the bluray iso and compare the rips to the source :3

Because one can still make bad decisions when encoding it.

ah now it makes sense, though i still dont get why this offer was accepted if its quality was disappointing, kinda contradicts bakabt for offering highest possible quality, or? not?  :-/ anyways im seeding, will post after i finish it

because he is comparing it to the source. if there is no better version available we can't do anything about it.

it's still a lot better than the DVD version up here.

Not sure if it's just me, I'm getting very bad video, audio de-synch. Video is running much slower than audio. couple of minutes into the show it's already a few seconds slower.

Going to stay with the DVD version although it has poorer quality

That usually means that your system is too weak or overloaded to play hi-res versions properly.

Fixed...not.
It seems to have something to do with my player or decoder..... updated it and works properly....(although it was less than 6 months since last update and no probs with other files.)

EDIT: it's still de-synch lol. shouldn't be my system too weak. I'm only downloading other than having browsers etc on. Nothing heavy duty. System is 1.6 Ghz i7 (quad core) with 8gb ram, GTS360m.

Which player/codec pack are you using?

currently using zoom player v8.2..... was using v8.11 when I first posted.

Should I try out VLC player?
I prefer codec packs that work for me out of the box; I used to use CCCP but didn't try it now adays cause some subtitles don't work out of the box without tweaking. (at least up to the last time I tried it, MPC didn't detect some ASS/SSA subtitle track)
