My first offer.... 
As for the .ass files, i can swap them for unedited .srt, however, they are not great.

If you change the subtitles, it will then be a remux.
While yes, the unedited subs look and flow (sentence fluency) better, you must leave the original files as they are.

But this didn't come as a package? or doesn't it matter? And i thought Bakabt was all about quality so do you really think the Moderators will reject the subtitles even though the difference is clear?
One more question... Should the subtitles go in a folder called 'Attachments', or should i leave them the way they are?

His tag says don't listen to him. So don't listen to him. 90% of the time he doesn't know what he's talking about. He was advised to stop commenting on offered torrents by the Mods but he doesn't listen very well. Your torrent is fine the way it is. Don't change it.

Thanks for the offer ... I'm watching this streamed right now, over at gooddrama, it's pretty good (now I wish I hadn't read the summary it's a bit of a spoiler to the end of the series). Perhaps you might rewrite the summary to be more general if you feel so inclined.

Lol I just checked the synopsis for Northern Exposure, it does look similar. Its old, i wonder if i can watch it somewhere?

If I'm not mistaken SARS-fansub already sub this series (along with the 1st season) with pretty good quality a few years ago8, so I think comparison with their release would be nice.

SARS only subbed season 1, which is already available on BakaBt.

If edits were made to fix some things and improve the sub quality, then that's fine. Which group originally did them? List it as "Unknown" if you don't know, but otherwise add the group name.
